Fatah’s secretary in Jenin, Ata Abu Rumeileh, said in an October 27, 2022 interview that aired on Awda TV (Palestinian Authority) that all the Palestinian factions are coordinating "in every region" to confront the occupation. He said that Palestinians will protect their people "at any cost" and are prepared for martyrdom and victory. He said that both Fatah's armed faction and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s armed faction "are coordinating on the ground in every region." Ata Abu Rumeileh: "Today, we tell the occupation, which wants to gain votes at the expense of our Palestinian blood: We are prepared for any option. Fatah and the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades are completely ready and prepared. All the factions are coordinating on the ground - the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades and the Al-Quds Brigades are coordinating on the ground in every region, in order to confront the occupation. We will protect our people, at any cost.
