Egyptian Cleric Abdallah Abd Al-Hay: The War with the Jews Is Bound to Come, Whether We Like It or Not

Following are excerpts from Egyptian cleric Abdallah Abd Al-Hay, which aired on Al-Nas TV, on April 4, 2010:

Abdallah Abd Al-Hay: Some of the people who participated in the [1973] war, with whom I used to pray in the same mosque, said that they would see the heads of the Jews flying off their bodies, even though no Egyptian soldier had come near them. Allah sent his angels to help the fighters in the 1973 war for the following purpose: "Fight so that the word of Allah will be supreme." This is like today, when we are being threatened by the apes and pigs.

The war with the Jews is bound to come, whether we like it or not. It is said in the Al-Bukhari collection of hadiths: "The Muslims will fight the Jews, and the Jews will hide behind stones and trees, and then Allah will make the stones and the trees speak and say: 'Oh servant of Allah, oh Muslim, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him'."
