Copenhagen Imam Mundhir Abdallah said in a Friday sermon that was uploaded to his YouTube chanel on February 4, 2022 that European countries welcome Muslim refugees from the Middle East and Africa so they can use them for "forced labor" and "slave" work, so they can replace the aging workforce. He also said that the Europeans force the Muslims who immigrate to their countries to assimilate into the local culture because they fear that young Europeans will be drawn to the Islam. Abdallah elaborated that European civilization is in a decline, that it has fallen into ignorance and moral corruption, and that the Europeans fear that the "radiant image of Islam and Muslims" will shine in "dark Europe." He added that the Europeans do not want Islam to be presented as an "alternative civilization" that could "save it from the inferno of liberalism, homosexuality, atheism, and sin."
In addition, Abdallah said that countries such as Germany create strife in the Middle East and Africa and plunder the natural resources of African countries like Mali and Niger, which he said causes the crises that bring people to flock to Europe. In past sermons, Mundhir Abdallah, who is affiliated with Hizb ut-Tahrir, has said that jihad necessitates the conquest of Europe. He has spoken about killing Jews. Mundhir Abdallah: "Why does Germany welcome more than 100,000 refugees a year? Is it done for humanitarian reasons? Where is their humanity with regard to the wars and strife that they spread in the Middle East and Africa, and the natural resources that they plunder in Africa - from Mali, from Niger, and from other countries? They have impoverished that continent and turned it into a living hell. They have plundered the natural resources of those nations.
"Their motives are not humanitarian. The decline in birth rate and the aging population - the elderly make up a large portion of their population - affect the wheels of production. It affects the economy. This shrinks the workforce, and they need more laborers. So they welcome millions of Muslims from the Middle East and Africa. They use them for forced labor, so they would work for them like slaves.
"But this is not enough for them. They force the Muslims they accept to assimilate in their society. Do they do this out of love for the Muslims? Do they want the Muslim civilization to be equal to theirs, and enjoy the values of the West? Absolutely not!
"Their values are obsolete and their societies are moth-eaten, and are falling apart and collapsing from within, and so they witness vacuum and moral decline.
"Therefore, the existence of Islam and the Muslims, and the rise of Islamic values in these societies, which suffer from spiritual and moral void, have attracted young European Westerners and draw them to Islam.

"This is why they want to force us to assimilate into their society, which suffers from a thousand moral, human, mental, and spiritual crises. Their society is drowning in atheism and despair. It suffers from the problems like homosexuality, drugs, and towering rape rates. Sweden is a country with an extremely high suicide rate.
"They do not want the radiant image of Islam and the Muslims to shine in dark Europe, which is sinking again in the darkness of ignorance and corruption. They do not want to present Islam as an alternative civilization, which can fill the void from which Europe is suffering, and save it from the inferno of liberalism, homosexuality, atheism, and sin."
