In his November 22, 2024 Friday sermon at the Kansas City Islamic Center, Muhammad Tarife said that the Islamic nation is the "best nation" and that it was brought to the world in order to encourage others to do good. He supplicated: "Oh Allah, annihilate the criminal Zionists, […] kill them one by one, and do not spare a single one of them […] allow us to torment them with our own hands, […] and heal the hearts of the believers." The sermon was uploaded to the YouTube channel of the Kansas City Islamic Center, where in 2023, Dr. Mohamed Kohia, Professor of Physical Therapy at Rockhurst University, referred to the October 7 attack as a "miracle."
Karim Abu Zayd: "Many things the Prophet foretold, and we do realize that they came to exist. The ideal example is in Hadith Tamim Al-Dari, when the Prophet mentioned that this religion will enter every single home on the face of this Earth. We witnessed [this] ourselves, especially those who migrated from the East to America. We witnessed that Islam has greatly spread, and this prophecy is almost realized.

"Right before the emerging of Al-Mahdi, three major signs will occur. The two landslides. In the West, America will be gone, I tell you that. In the East, China and all these will be gone."

Caller: "How authentic is the narration that Imam Al-Mahdi will also be conquering the Vatican City?"

Abu Zayd: "As for the Vatican – the Prophet did not say the Vatican – he said Rummiya, Rome, which in essence normally refers to Europe, but it refers to Italy and the Vatican, yes. That hadith is authentic. [The Vatican] is among the places, where the Muslims, during the reign of Imam Al-Mahdi, will conquer. [The Prophet Muhammad said:] 'You will attack Persia and [Allah will enable you] to conquer it, and you will attack the Arabian Peninsula, Persia, Constantinople, and then Rome.' Four [places] the Prophet mentioned in the hadith."
