In a December 13, 2024 Friday sermon at the Masumeen Islamic Centre in Brampton, Ontario, part of the Greater Toronto Area, Haider Jaffer quoted the leader of the Iranian Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khomeini, saying that he had predicted that Israel will not rest until it has achieved its expansionist agenda. He said that Israel will move all the way into Syria and then into Iraq. Jaffer said that Israel moving into the buffer zone in the Golan Heights is part of this plan. He further asserted that Israel seeks to take over Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia, claiming that this is the "grand land" that they were promised by Allah. Brampton is part of the Greater Toronto Area.
Haider Jaffer: "I was just looking at a clip from Ayatollah Khomeini may Allah have mercy on his soul, from about 45 years ago, where he is talking about the fact that Israel will never rest, until such time that they have captured... They will keep on moving inch by inch everywhere and making excuses that they are not to blame. So they have started with a small part in 1947, today they have occupied everything, they are moving in... Now, they have already moved beyond the buffer zone into Syria, and captured a part of that [land], and the plan is to move... He talks about it, they will plan and they will not rest, until they move all the way into Syria and then all the way into Iraq.
