British-Palestinian Journalist Abdel Bari Atwan On Hizbullah TV: The U.S. Has Made It Clear that It Will Not Support Israeli Military Action Against Iran; Biden Knows This Would Spell America's End

British-Palestinian journalist Abdel Bari Atwan said in a December 5, 2021 show on Al-Manar TV (Hizbullah-Lebanon) that the U.S. would not support Israeli military action against Iran and that there are options that are no longer on the table. He added that after the American failure in Afghanistan, Syria, and Iraq, U.S. President Joe Biden knows that such intervention would spell his end and the end of the United States.

Abdel Bari Atwan: "Yes, the U.S. said to Israel: 'Beware of engaging in military adventure [in Iran], we will not stand by you.' Up until now, the U.S. has been saying that the military option is on the table, and that it is not out of the question.

"But is the U.S., having been defeated in Afghanistan, Syria, and Iraq, prepared to begin a new war, just so Israel can sleep soundly? Dream on! But the U.S. cares about its children, its people, its interests, and its allies. This is what it is all about.

"So the head of the Mossad and Benny Gantz, Israel's 'Minister of War,' want to try to convince the U.S. to support them and to entangle the U.S. in war. I believe that the U.S. – and specifically Biden – will not get entangled in a war in Iran, because that would spell his end, the end of the U.S., and even the end of its allies in the Middle East."
