Abdul Rahman Hassan, a British Islamic scholar, spoke about Muslims in the West in a video titled: "Is Hijrah Obligatory? #UK #USA #France," which was uploaded to the Al Madrasatu Al Umariyyah online Islamic educational institute on October 20, 2020. He said that any Muslim, who is able to return to his country of origin is obligated to do so. Hassan added that every single day he remains in a Western country he is committing a sin. Hassan claimed that thousands of Muslim children are taken from their homes by social services, and being placed with non-Muslim families, some of which are "LGBT families." He elaborated that the children are removed from their homes due to accusations of abuse, which might be the mother forcing a child to wake up for early morning prayers. Hassan added that Muslims must leave the West, because Western lands are rife with immorality, such as homosexuality, and Western society has more influence over the Muslims than they have over the societies in which they live. Abdul Rahman Hassan: "Anyone who knows that they have the ability to migrate go to their home country where they originated from. Where they will be open, and people, the community and their families are ready to take them back in and stays in the land of the Muslims. He is actively sinning by remaining in that land. By the way every single day he stays in that land he is sinning.

"You are giving your children to the enemies who are going to destroy your child's mindset and thinking.

"There are 4,500 Muslim heritage children in Britain. These children of Muslim, keep in mind, these are Muslim. They've been taken from their families, and their reason for that is that the child has gone through abuse and neglect, family breakdown, a parent or child's illness or disability and lack of support. And then they say the vast majority are removed by social services on account of harm or profound risk of harm. This child they say, this child, has been taken from his parents maybe because she was forcing him to praise Allah."
Commentator: "Maybe because she was abusing him?"
Hassan: "This child, who is Ahmed, he can be taken care of by an LGBT family. The West today, we have an issue of morality and dignity against them. For example, homosexuality.

"Hence why we are saying to the people, 'leave the UK' because however good you are they are more than you. They influence you. The ocean takes you."
