At Rally Honoring Hamas, Birzeit University Students Give Salutations To 'Body Parts Scattered' In Suicide Attacks In Israeli Cities, Chant: 'Jihad For The Sake Of Allah! Death For The Sake Of Allah!'

On December 14, 2021, video footage from a rally honoring the 34th anniversary of Hamas was posted on the Jmedia Facebook page. The rally was held in Birzeit University in the town of Birzeit, which is near Ramallah. The video shows students wearing Hamas military uniforms and face coverings as they gave "salutations" to the followers of Hamas leaders who have been killed by Israel, such as Sheikh Ahmad Yassin, Ahmad Jaabari, and Yahya Ayash, as well as to the body parts scattered in suicide bombings in Israeli cities such as Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. In another video from the event that was posted on the Alhahadath Newspaper's YouTube channel, students are seen marching in full Hamas military gear and carrying Hamas and Palestinian flags. Students chanted: "Jihad! Jihad for the sake of Allah! Death for the sake of Allah! Hamas! Hamas! The Al-Qassam Brigades!"
