BDS South Africa Video Marks Movement's 11th Anniversary

On July 12, the BDS South Africa chapter posted a video on YouTube to mark the movement's 11th anniversary. Against the backdrop of images from Israeli Apartheid Week and other protests and news cuttings in South Africa, the video features a rap song, with lyrics such as "Israel, you should be ashamed - killing and maiming thousands of civilians in our name," and draws a parallel with the racial tensions in the U.S.: "Shot them in the back like the cops to Oscar Grant."
