In a Friday, October 30, 2020 sermon at Arrahman Islamic Center in Sydney, Australia, Shi'ite Imam Youssef Nabha said that French President Macron and the French media are no less criminal than the person who recently stabbed three people outside a church in Nice, France. He said that the West is suffering from the takfiri groups that it had supported in Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon. In January 2020, Nabha had delivered a eulogy for IRGC Qods Force Commander General Qasem Soleimani (see MEMRI TV clip No. 7776).
Youssef Nabha: "What the French President and his hateful media did is no less in criminality than the criminal act that targeted a church in the French city of Nice. The Prophet of Mercy, Muhammad (PBUH) is innocent from those who attack people unjustly and aggressively, and shed their blood and money. It is no secret that what the West is suffering now is a result of their support for the takfiri movements that have distorted Islam and made both Muslims and Christians suffer from their crimes in Syria, Iraq and Lebanon. Therefore, Muslims will not accept the West using the takfiri criminals again to offend the Messenger of humanity Muhammad (PBUH), desecrate the sanctities of the Muslims and insult them."
