Al-Arabiya TV Broadcasts Anti-Terrorism Public Service Ad

Source: Al-Arabiya Network (Dubai/Saudi Arabia)

Following is a description of an anti-terrorism public service ad, which aired on Al-Arabiya TV on October 24, 2010.

The ad shows an elderly man gazing at a photograph of his family with pride. As he looks at the image of his eldest son, we see his son in his work as a doctor. He looks at his daughter's image, and we see her in her professional life working as a teacher.

Then he looks at the image of his youngest son, and a look of sadness comes into his eyes. We see the son in a Jihadi video, pointing a gun at the head of a blindfolded prisoner.

The father tears his youngest son's picture from the family photograph, and the following words appear on the screen:

"For the unjust there is no helper."

Terrorism. I am a Muslim – I am against it.
