Palestinian Islamic scholar Sheikh Yousef Makharzah, who is affiliated with Hizb ut-Tahrir, said in a video posted on the Hizb ut-Tahrir-linked Al-Waqiyah TV YouTube channel on February 8, 2023 that Islam and fighting are "inseparable," that infidels are "insolent," and that the only thing that can keep them from seizing peoples' wives and property is fear. He also told his audience to "prepare" to "go and fight the infidels in America" because it is the center of global corruption.
