Below are excerpts from an article written by a Pakistani youth in China. The article, titled "China's Changing Intellectual And Cultural Tenets," was written by Zafar Iqbal, who was shocked by the Westernization of Chinese culture.
In the article published by Roznama Islam, an Urdu-language Pakistani daily, Iqbal blames the Jews for the transformation of Chinese culture and advances an antisemitic conspiracy theory that the Jews are pushing China to fight against the Islamic world.

"It was midnight. Our aircraft took off from Karachi for the Chinese town of Chengdu. 57 Pakistani students, including boys and girls, were going to China for medical education. Friends, dear ones, and parents bid farewell at the airport with lots of prayers and golden dreams in their eyes. After five hours of continued air travel, the Air China flight landed at the International Airport of Chengdu. This was my first trip to China. Thousands of thoughts had been in my mind during the preparation days of the trip and now during the travel. A special kind of friendship and impressions of good relations with China in Pakistan; my mind too was thinking the same - [Pakistan-China friendship being] taller than the Himalayas and deeper than the oceans
"Chengdu is a big center of China for international flights. When we landed here, a new world was in front of us. There was too much rush, but my mind got a jolt when I witnessed a culture, totally European and American, and rather even worse than that. Men and women were clothed in tight jeans. Scenes of shamelessness got my mind spinning. Young boys and girls were doing such actions that, forget tolerating them, it was not acceptable to see them even for a moment; but this was a different country and we were helpless. [I] got so hopeless that the happiness of coming to China evaporated in a moment. It was a desire to walk around and see the airport, but I went aside and sat in order to skip bad-seeing [i.e. seeing bad behavior of the Chinese youth]. My destination was Wuhan, which is a big city of China, and there were three hours before the next flight. At the airport, a Chinese person told me that obscenity is being formally promoted under the Chinese government patronage so that China's 'shining face' could be shown to the world.
"It is a sad matter that no book regarding China has been written in Pakistan through which a correct study and analysis of China could be done and our people could get an opportunity to understand it in reality. [Unlike Pakistan, whose founder MA Jinnah died within a year of its independence] it was China's good fortune that its founder Mao Zedong remained alive for thirty years after independence and strengthened China's foundations as per his unique thought. During the thirty years after the independence in 1949, this nation not only built dams but also strengthened its defense. Big and amazing reservoirs of water were constructed, which include the Three Gorges Dam, which has been honored by the United Nations as the "entire world's energy center." The progress and strength of an economy are linked to water. It is sad that we [Pakistanis] could not build any new dams after Tarbela and Mangla
"At the time of independence, China was far behind us. The Japanese, the English, and the Portuguese had destroyed it. According to the Chinese, the Japanese committed extreme atrocities and set fire to trees and plants too. This is the reason that despite that the Chinese government has good business relationships with Japan, hatred against Japan among the common Chinese is at a peak and every person's slogan is that 'we will attack Japan and take revenge.' For the time being, the Chinese government has controlled its people's sentiments [against Japan]. The Chinese defense and economy had become strong in 1980, whereas China was considered a closed nation at that time, about which the external world did not know much.
"During the 1980s, the government opened China for the external world. The construction of infrastructure and arrival of foreigners began; then China left its own culture and not only adopted the Western culture and civilization, but took it as its Qibla [sense of direction] in everything."

"Here, there is a point worth considering - that the Jews are the enemy of Islam from the beginning and less in number, and from the appearance of Prophet Muhammad 'til now [they] have never been in existence as a big power on their own. However, their conspiracies from the beginning 'til now are dangerous, successful, and continuing. In the recent past, when Britain was the superpower, the Jews used Britain against Islam. After its destruction [in the Second World War] Russia became the great power; then this nation [of Jews] rode on its shoulders and Russia became an attacker on Muslims. After the destruction of Russia, America became the sole big power of the world; at that time there was no fight between America and Muslims, but the Jews entered the American mind and imposed an unending series of wars on Muslims. America's decline is now a story; the Jews are in the race/machinations to take the next emerging super power, China, on the same lines.
"Although China is a non-Muslim majority country, its clothes were similar to Muslims', were open and used to cover entire body; there was no shamelessness; and illicit relations between men and women other than wife and husband were hated; but now this all has changed. On the advice of the Jews, China was opened for the world; then all the obscenities of Europe and America emerged here, and today's China has left the West far behind in these dirty things. Scenes devoid of morality are openly seen in streets, parks, colleges, universities, and all public places. In copying the English, the common Chinese, especially the new generation, have become blind. The arrangements/infrastructure for obscenity  are common. Foreigners, especially Americans and Britons, are coming here in large numbers, and such a China is being developed, seeing which a gentleman's heart is surrounded by concerns.
"Movies worth billions of dollars are being made to prove that Muslims are a danger to China and are distributed in China with Chinese subtitles. The Chinese watch these movies eagerly at shops, hotels, shopping centers and all places, and their consequences have started emerging. The Iraq and Afghan wars have been made the subject of these movies, showing how essential it was to attack these Muslim countries, and if these attacks were not carried out China too could be in dangers. Anyway, hatred for Muslims is growing here.
"Alas! If our [Muslim] leaders were free of their own fights and loot, they could ameliorate the fast changing situation nearby. But today's Chinese generation is so much in love of Western culture that their all festivals are celebrated with much fanfare. Like every year, this year too all of China was decorated on Christmas, and in this happiness costs of all things were discounted. Forget about even a government holiday on Eidain [Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha] and other Islamic festivities, these are not even permitted to be observed, though there is a big number of Muslims in China, and Christians and Jews are non-existent."
