MEMRI RESEARCH - MORE VITAL NOW THAN EVER

Your support helps MEMRI to continue its research, which is more vital, relied on more, and requested more than ever before:

To meet this need, to date in 2015 MEMRI has published:

· More than 315 Special Dispatches

· 81 Inquiry & Analysis reports

· 524 MEMRI TV clips

· 881 Jihad & Terrorism Threat Monitor (JTTM) reports

· 369 Cyber Jihad Lab (CJL) reports

· 33 MEMRI Daily Briefs

· 692 MEMRI reports were emailed to subscribers like yourself

· In the last three months alone, MEMRI TV clips had more than 50 million views online.

THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS STILL NEED FUNDING THIS YEAR

· MEMRI TV Project - Monitoring and translating from nearly 100 Arab and Iranian channels around the clock, serving as a major resource for government, academia, legislatures, and media by providing them with a much deeper understanding of complex situations than they can obtain from other sources.

· Iran Studies Project - Now focusing on the JCPOA and its implementation, or lack thereof, by Iran; Iran's growing presence in Syria; its continued pursuit of its missile program; and vital issues within the country that impact the region and the entire world.

· Jihad & Terrorism Studies Project - Examining the growth and emergence of terror tactics, including cyber warfare, as well as methods of outreach and planning, including via social media and encrypted communications, of recruitment, indoctrination, and encouragement of lone-wolf attacks in the West.

· The Tom Lantos Archives on Antisemitism and Holocaust Denial - Focusing on the ongoing and ubiquitous antisemitism and Holocaust denial across the Arab and Muslim world; the work of this project culminates annually in an annual Capitol Hill event at which its report on the pastyear's activity is presented. Speakers at the 2015 event included Rep. Brad Sherman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Sen. John McCain of the Senate Armed Services Committee, and Sheikh Hassen Chalghoumi, Imam of Drancy, Paris.

· Cyber Jihad Lab - Monitoring, tracking, translating, and analyzing cyber jihad content originating from the Middle East, Iran, South Asia, and North and West Africa.

· The Reform Project - Identifying voices of reform that question the status quo across the region, and examining the still-reverberating impact of the Arab Spring.

· South Asia Studies Project - As President Obama announces plans to keep troops in Afghanistan, the region further deteriorates towards jihadism, and sectarian hatred and violence surge.
