In a March 1, 2019 speech in honor of Saviours' Day, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan recounted a meeting with Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin. Farrakhan said that Martin came to his house with a few Jewish friends who had come to ask him some questions. He explained that anyone who came to his house came to be taught, and that God let him know the motive for asking the questions. Farrakhan said: "Elijah Muhammad prepared a young man to become God – enough to challenge Satan and defeat him." The speech was posted on various social media accounts, as the official channel of the Nation of Islam has been removed.

One version of the clip was published on January 9, 2021, YouTube by the channel of the Waxahachie, Texas Study Group of the Nation of Islam[1], described as "Official Study Group of Muhammad Mosque #64, under the Leadership of The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, National Representative of The Honorable Elijah Muhammad." The channel, established in November 2015, has 629 subscribers, and has posted dozens of videos of Louis Farrakhan, garnering over 54,000 views.

The same video was also posted on the platform qvidio by user "Abdul Qiyam Muhammad" on March 23, 2012, garnering 411 views as of writing, but no user comments.[2] The user maintains accounts across multiple platforms, and posts extensively about Farrakhan.
