Interviewer: "The stage is yours, Fadl."

Fadl Shaker: "Okay, just a second. I need to get the right tone.

"Oh mother, my religion has called upon me for Jihad and for self-sacrifice.

"Oh mother, I am going towards eternity and will not hesitate.

"Oh mother, do not cry for me if I fall helping others, for death does not frighten me. I aspire to die as a martyr.

"Allah Akbar, whenever the sound of the bombs ululates,

"Allah Akbar, whenever the bullets sing and chirp,

"Allah Akbar, the blood of my brothers will not be shed in vain,

"Allah Akbar, the blood of my brothers will not be shed in vain.

"Victory is coming with a smile on its face, and the fire of truth burns brighter.

"We refuse to surrender. Our hope is like a banner all over the horizon.

"We refuse to be humiliated, even if the slaughterers prepare their cleavers for us.

"We refuse to surrender. Our hope is like a banner all over the horizon.

"We refuse to be humiliated, even if the slaughterers prepare their cleavers for us.

"We refuse to bow down to tyrants who hate the divine guidance, for death does not frighten me, and I aspire to die as a martyr."
