Even if you are a long-time MEMRI reader, you may not realize just how many resources, and how much work, are required to provide you with the MEMRI content you read and the MEMRI TV clips you view every day, free of charge. Twenty-four hours a day, every day of the week, MEMRI researchers around the world monitor, translate, and analyze thousands of sources - printed, televised, and online - to make sure you receive, directly to your inbox and before anyone else, our research on the latest developments in the Arab and Muslim world, including threats of terrorism in the West. And, in January 2016, MEMRI launched its Russian Media Studies Project, publishing translations and analysis, due to the fact that Russia is the pillar of support of the resistance - comprising Iran, Syria, and Hizbullah - and has expanded its involvement in the Middle East, leading U.S. defense officials to define it as an "existential threat" to the U.S. No other organization in the world is doing the work that we do.
Thus far in 2016, we have sent you over 200 Special Dispatches, 38 Inquiry and Analysis reports, 19 MEMRI Daily Briefs, 246 MEMRI TV clips, 395 Jihad and Terrorist Threat Monitor (JTTM) reports, and 208 Cyber Jihad Lab (CJL) reports. And, so far this year, MEMRI TV clips have been viewed by over 10 million people.
