Former British Boxer Anthony Small: The Killing Of Leaders By Drone Attacks Will Not End Our Jihad

Following are excerpts from a Friday sermon delivered in London by former British boxer Anthony Small, a.k.a. Abdul Haqq. The sermon was posted on the Internet on November 18, 2013.

Anthony Small: "Brothers, just about a week ago, the leader of Pakistan Taliban, brother Hakimullah Mehsud, Allah's mercy upon him, was killed by an American drone. But is it not about time that the enemies of Islam learn or realize that the victory of Islam and the establishment of the shari'a does not rest upon the head of one individual? We place our trust in the power of Allah.

"When will they learn? At the front of the struggle, many years ago, there was a man by the name of Sayyid Qutb, Allah's mercy upon him. The enemies of Islam said: 'Look, all we have to do is kill this man here, make an example out of him, and that's it – these radicals and extremists, this Islam that contradicts our own way of life, will be finished.' We place our trust in the power of Allah."

Online Jihadis Create Hashtag Praising Young Men From U.S., U.K., Australia, Germany Who Quit Studies In West To Wage Jihad In Syria

In the past week, jihad supporters on Twitter have been discussing and praising the phenomenon of young men from Arab countries who quit their studies in the West in order to join the jihad in Syria. Their tweets indicate that quite a few such students – most of them Saudis who were enrolled in universities in the U.S., Britain, Australia, Germany and elsewhere – are joining the thousands of foreigners who are already fighting in Syria.

The discussion started on November 17, 2013 when a Saudi sheikh posted a series of tweets under the hashtag "From Studies Abroad to Jihad," in which he told of two young Saudis who quit their studies in the U.S. and came to fight in Syria.

American Al-Qaeda Operative Adam Gadahn To Libyans: 'Attack The Interests Of The American Pirates And The Crusaders Everywhere In Our Countries And Theirs' – Full Version

The jihadi forums Al-Fida' and Shumoukh Al-Islam posted an audio recording by American Al-Qaeda operative Adam Yahya Gadahn, AKA 'Azzam Al-Amriki, titled 'The Crime Of The Kidnapping Of Abu Anas Al-Libi And Its Implications.' In the recording, he discussed Al-Libi's October 2013 kidnapping by the Americans, calling it the kidnapping 'a new link in the series of the American pirates' crimes' and 'an ostentatious, cowardly act.' Gadahn claimed that Al-Libi is innocent of the charges attributed to him but accused the 'Crusader West' of abandoning the principles of justice when it comes to Muslims. In light of this, Gadahn called on all Muslims, particularly Libyans, not to remain silent in the face of this kidnapping and to teach the 'Crusaders" a lesson they would not forget by attacking their interests everywhere in the lands of Islam and their own countries "until Abu Anas returns safe and sound to the bosom of his family.'

German ISIS Operative Calls On Germans To Join Jihad In Syria

In a video released November 30, 2013 by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), one of the group's German members, a convert to Islam identified only as Abu Osama Al-Almani, calls upon his fellow German Muslims to join the jihad in Syria or at least to support it with money and prayers.

After touching briefly on the spiritual journey that led him to Islam, Abu Osama says that he came to Syria in order 'to make Allah's word supreme' and 'spread justice,' and declares: 'We will not stop until we achieve this, and if you kill us others will come after us to complete the mission, since Allah promised us that it would be so.' He makes an impassioned appeal to Germans, both Muslim and non-Muslim, to join the jihad in Syria, and also calls upon the latter to convert to Islam. He asks them what they gain by visiting nightclubs with women, and advises them that, instead of indulging in 'prostitution,' they should become good Muslims and marry up to four wives.

In Issue IV Of Taliban Magazine Azan, Western Jihadi Writes Poem To His Mother: 'Don't Cry My Mother, Rather Smile And Laugh / With The First Drop Of Blood All My Sins Disappear'

The latest issue of the English-language jihadi magazine Azan, which is published by the Taliban in Khurasan (Afghanistan-Pakistan region), carries a poem by a Western jihadi Abu Salamah Al-Muhajir, who claims to have been born and raised in a Western country. The magazine was released through a jihadi website.

The poem is titled 'Oh My Mother!' and explains the meanings of martyrdom, and how as a martyr he will be given 72 houris, the pure women of paradise, and will have the power to intercede on behalf of his mother and relatives to be allowed into paradise.

Following is the text of the poem, in its original English:

"Oh my mother!
"Oh my mother, I love you from the depths of my heart
"For you my eyes flowed with tears when I set to depart
"To the Lands of jihad where honour's achieved
"Your son's a mujahid so do not bereave
"Would you cry for me as I may be killed?"

Issue IV Of Taliban Magazine Azan Pays Tributes To Convicted U.S. Major Nidal Hasan, Says If A Stupid Smoker Could Cause Fire In Sydney Stadium, 'Then What About An 'Intelligent' Mujahid Who Decides To Trigger Off Bushfires In Australia?

The latest issue of the English-language jihadi magazine Azan, which is published by the Taliban in Khurasan (Afghanistan-Pakistan region), carries several articles urging Muslim youth in the West to launch attacks in their homelands, and pays tribute to Maj. Nidal Hasan, the U.S. army officer who was convicted of a jihadi attack at Fort Hood in November 2009.

The magazine, the fourth issue since it began publishing early this year, was released through a jihadi website. An article titled 'Nidal Hassan [sic] – Our Hero', written by Muhammad Qasim, carries the following words along with his photo: 'The courageous mujahid Nidal Hassan… was sentenced to death by a military jury in late August. He killed 13 American soldiers and wounded 30 at Fort Hood just before they were going to be deployed to kill Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan. We encourage every Muslim in the Armies of the Kuffar to follow his example in repenting from their current state and killing as many of the enemy as possible.'
