On September 16, 2024, Yemen’s Iran-backed Ansar Allah Movement (the Houthis) claimed that it had intercepted "an American MQ-9 aircraft in the airspace of Dhamar Governorate, where it was carrying out hostile missions."
On September 20, 2024, Israeli security sources reported that an airstrike carried out in Lebanon's capital, Beirut, killed Ibrahim Aqil, a senior Hizbullah military commander and member of the Jihad Council, the party's top military body.

Over Two Days, Islamic Resistance In Iraq Claims Five Attacks Against Israel
From September 24-25, 2024, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an umbrella group of Iran-backed militias in Iraq, released five statements claiming responsibility for five different attacks that targeted Israel's northern and southern regions.
Between September 16 and 21, 2024, on its Telegram channel, the Iran-backed Iraqi Sarkhat Al-Quds Brigades militia (formerly Ashab Al-Kahf) posted statements in which it announced the transition to “a new phrase in the confrontation with the enemy,” and its readiness to send thousands of fighters to Lebanon to participate in the war against “the Zionist entity.”
On September 21, 2024, the Syrian opposition-affiliated Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that Iran-backed militias had completed a new underground border crossing between Iraq and Syria in the desert near Al-Bukamal, in eastern Syria's Deir Al-Zour governorate, with the goal of transporting weapons and ammunition while avoiding airstrikes targeting trucks. According to the article's headline, this comes "after Israel's tracking of their trucks."
Islamic Resistance In Iraq Claims 10 Attacks Against Israel Between September 15-23, 2024
In the week of September 15-22, 2024, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an umbrella group of Iran-backed militias in Iraq, issued 10 statements claiming responsibility for 10 separate attacks that targeted Israel's northern and southern regions, including the city of Haifa in the north.
An Iran-backed militia in Iraq, the Imam Ali Brigades, called for total resistance against the U.S., Israel, and the West in a statement released on September 23, 2024.
Issue 461 of the Islamic State (ISIS) weekly newsletter, Al-Naba', released on September 19, 2024, featured details about armed clashes between ISIS operatives and Azerbaijani forces in Qusar District, northeastern Azerbaijan.

Article In Issue 38 Of ISKP Magazine 'Voice Of Khurasan' Accuses Taliban Of Violating Shari'a
An article in the latest issue of the "Voice of Khurasan," an English-language monthly magazine published by Al-Azaim Media Foundation, a media outlet linked to the Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP), which defines itself as a supporting entity for the Islamic State (ISIS), accuses the Afghan Taliban rulers of violating shari'a and assuming the legislating power of Allah to declare things to be forbidden and permissible.
In an Urdu-language booklet, the Islamic State Khurasan Province discusses the policies of the Afghan Taliban regime in Afghanistan, arguing that while "the Taliban rulers assume they are mujahideen, they are actually allies of Jews and Christians."
In a Dari-language video, the Islamic State Khurasan Province (ISKP) discusses the Afghan Taliban's relations with non-Muslim countries, calling them "allies of unbelievers" and "militias" working for Russia and the United States in a war against Islam.

In a Pashtu-language documentary released on the Afghan Taliban's three years in power, the Islamic State Khurasan Province (ISKP) criticizes the Taliban rulers' governance, issues 37 charges against the Taliban, accusing them of violating the shari'a, taking aid from non-Muslim countries, and oppressing the Afghan people by collecting excessive taxes, among other things.
On September 7, a Telegram channel publishing ISKP-related material posted a Pashtu-language video criticizing Afghan Taliban member and follower of Sufism Khalifa Deen Muhammad, who is also the head of Ulema Council of the Taliban in Kabul province and whom ISKP accuses of supporting Sufism.
A pro-Islamic State (ISIS) Telegram channel advised supporters not to publish photos of themselves online to avoid identification, surveillance, and detection.
Al-Qaeda Affiliate GSIM Claims Attacks On Armed Forces In Mali, Togo, Benin
On September 23, 2024, the Al-Zallaqa Media Foundation, the media arm of Al-Qaeda's affiliate in the African Sahel, Jama'at Nusrat Al-Islam Wal-Muslimeen (the Group for Support of Islam and Muslims – GSIM), published statements claiming responsibility for attacks on armed forces in Mali, Togo, and Benin.
From September 2-18, 2024, the Shahada News Agency, the media arm of Al-Qaeda's affiliate in Somalia, Harakat Al-Shabab Al-Mujahideen (Al-Shabab), reported on a series of attacks carried out by its operatives against Ethiopian and Ugandan forces active in the country and Kenyan forces in Kenya's northeastern counties of Manderal and Lamu.
On September 20, 2024, the Shahada News Agency, the media arm of Al-Qaeda's affiliate in Somalia, Harakat Al-Shabab Al-Mujahideen (Al-Shabab), published a statement claiming that Al-Shabab operatives shelled the Halane military base, the "largest base belonging to the International Coalition Forces and its institutions," in Somalia's capital, Mogadishu.

On September 18, 2024, a Telegram channel, linked to Al-Qaeda supporter Fu'ad Al-Khatib, forwarded a post from another channel reporting that drinking water was distributed to displaced Gazans in refugee camps in Al-Mawasi, near Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has released Issue 45 of its Urdu-language PDF bulletin "Manzil," in which the TTP spokesman calls on the people of Pakistan to support the jihadi group in its fight against the Pakistan military.
