On October 26, 2021, Idlib University announced via Telegram that it had been accepted as a member of the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) initiative, which "aligns institutions of higher education with the United Nations in supporting and contributing to the realization of United Nations goals and mandates, including the promotion and protection of human rights, access to education, sustainability and conflict resolution."

 

The Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP) Claims Responsibility For Attack On Military Hospital In Central Kabul

On November 2, 2021, the Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP) claimed responsibility for an attack, in which dozens were killed or wounded, on the Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan National Military Hospital, the largest military hospital in Kabul, Afghanistan.

 

ISIS Claims Third Attack In Mogadishu During October

On October 28, 2021, the Islamic State (ISIS) claimed that its operatives detonated an IED on a vehicle belonging to the Somali army in northern Mogadishu on October 27, killing two soldiers and wounding three others.

 

ISIS Weekly Boasts About Attack On Shi'ite Village In Diyala, Warns More Attacks Will Follow

On October 29, 2021, the Islamic State (ISIS) released issue 310 of Al-Naba', the organization's weekly. The issue included an infographic discussing the October 26 armed attack on Al-Rashad village in Diyala Governorate, northeastern Iraq, which killed and wounded dozens of Shi'ite members of the Bani Tamim tribe, for which ISIS had claimed responsibility.

 

Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) Video Depicts Attacks On Nigerian Army To Demonstrate ISWAP's Strength

On October 30, 2021, the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) released video that includes footage of ISWAP fighters raiding Nigerian Army positions in the northeast of the country; the execution of captured soldiers; and messages from ISWAP fighters vowing to obey Islamic State (ISIS) leader Abu Ibrahim Al-Hashemi, threatening the Nigerian military and those who cooperate with it, and urging locals to join ISWAP.

On October 29, 2021, the Islamic State (ISIS) released the latest issue of Al-Naba', the group's weekly newspaper. The issue included four reports and two photos that have not been disseminated through other ISIS official media outlets.

 

ISIS Weekly Argues Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) Turkmen Mountain Campaign Launched To 'Please Turkey And Russia,' Calls On Foreign Fighters In Syria To Join The Islamic State

On October 28, 2021, Issue 310 of the Islamic State (ISIS) weekly, Al-Naba', included an editorial denouncing the Syrian jihadi group Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) for waging a military campaign against foreign fighters in Syria's Turkmen Mountain area.

 

Citing Al-Joulani's 'Betrayal Of The Caliphate,' Female ISIS Writer Says HTS Leader's Offensive Against Rival Groups In Syria's Turkmen Mountain Aimed To 'Please America'

On October 27, 2021, a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) Telegram channel posted an article by a prominent female ISIS supporter in which she commented on the recent offensive by Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) against rival groups composed of foreign fighters in the Turkmen Mountain area, northeast of Latakia.

 

Pro-ISIS Outlet Celebrates Attacks Killing Or Wounding 2,352 Shi'ites In Past Six Years In Afghanistan, Pakistan

On October 28, 2021, a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) media outlet released an infographic listing major attacks carried out by the organization's Afghan affiliate, Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP), against Shi'ites in Afghanistan over the past six years (2015-2021).

 

Pro-Islamic State (ISIS) Telegram Channels Urge Iraqi Sunnis To Join ISIS And Wage Jihad Against Shi'ites

A new pro-Islamic State (ISIS) Telegram channel called Kun Asadan La Takun Kharoufan (Be a Lion, Don't Be a Sheep) urges Sunni Iraqis to join ISIS and fight against the Shi'ites.

Pro-Al-Qaeda Magazine Article Urges Jihad Against Hindu Interests In India And Beyond, Boycott Of Indian Products, And Firing Of Hindu Workers

On October 28, 2021, the pro-Al-Qaeda media outlet Bayt Al-Maqdis released Issue 22 of its quarterly magazine, Ibnat Al-Islam ("Daughter of Islam").

 

Pro-Al-Qaeda Telegram Channel Shares 'Leaked' Conversations And Video Identifying Collaborators Who Assisted The International Coalition In Targeting Hurras Al-Din Official Abu Abdallah Al-Raqqawi

On November 2, 2021, a pro-Al-Qaeda and anti-Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) Telegram channel shared a "leaked" recorded conversation and video identifying locals who helped the international coalition to locate and kill a top official in the Syria-based Al-Qaeda-affiliated group Hurras Al-Din, named Abu Abdallah Al-Raqqawi, in the suburbs of Raqqa, Syria on October 22, 2021.

 

Pro-Al-Qaeda Woman Writer: Israel Masterminded Sudan's Recent Military Coup, Islamists Must Take Action To Return Sudan To The Islamic Ummah

On October 29, 2021, the pro-Al-Qaeda (AQ) publishing house Bayt Al-Maqdis released issue 22 of Ibnat Al-Islam, the group's women's magazine.

On October 25, 2021, the Syrian jihadi group Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) launched an offensive in the Turkmen Mountain range northeast of Latakia, against several groups of foreign fighters.

On October 30, 2021, On The Ground News (OGN), a media outlet run by Syria-based American jihadi reporter Bilal Abdul Kareem, published a video on YouTube raising awareness about the alleged plight of Saifullah Al-Faransi, a French foreign fighter reportedly detained by Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS).

On October 31, 2021, a Syria-based Al-Qaeda supporter published a Telegram post emphasizing the effectiveness of demonstrations against jihadi group Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) and its leader Abu Muhammad Al-Joulani, and urging residents of Syria's Idlib region to continue to protest against HTS and its policies.

On October 30, 2021,  the Sabereen News Telegram channel, which supports the Iran-backed militias in Iraq, called on these militias to target trucks bringing Saudi goods into Iraq through the 'Ar'ar border crossing, just as they target the American logistics convoys around the country.

 

Shi'ite Group In Iraq: We Will Attack U.S. Forces In Iraq If They Don't Leave By The End Of The Year And Also Anyone Who Promotes Normalization With Israel

On November 1, 2021, an Iranian-backed Iraqi group released a statement threatening to attack American forces in Iraq if they don't leave the country by the end of 2021, as U.S. President Joe Biden declared.
