In recent days, clashes broke out between security forces of the new Syrian administration – linked to disbanded jihadi group Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) – and Druze militias in the Damascus suburb of Jaramana, whose population is mostly Druze and Christian.
On February 21, 2025, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) Forces conducted a precision airstrike in the Al-Dana area, Idlib, northwest Syria, killing a Syrian national and senior leadership facilitator of the Hurras Al-Din (Guardians of Religion), the now dissolved Al-Qaeda affiliate.
On March 3, 2025, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated, in an Israeli Knesset session, that "the timing of the pager operation in Lebanon [against Hizbullah] was ideal, as it ultimately led to the downfall of the Al-Assad regime."
On March 4, 2025, a Telegram channel which focuses on developing "the security consciousness" of the resistance in Syria, posted an approximately two-minute video showing a masked operative demonstrating a tactical guide for executing a sniper attack against a "Zionist patrol" during an "incursion" into southern Syria.
On February 23, 2025, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a speech in which he called for the "complete demilitarization" of southern Syria's Quneitra, Daraa, and Al-Suwayda' governorates and declared that Israel "will not tolerate any threat to the Druze community in southern Syria."
A Lebanese Daily reported that Syrians have formed "popular confrontation groups" to counter perceived Israeli threats in southern Syria.
The "Syrian Popular Resistance" is an armed group which opposes the new Syrian administration, which is linked to the jihadi organization, Hay'at Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS), and Syrian President Ahmed Al-Sharaa, aka Abu Muhammad Al-Joulani.
Hamas-Linked Telegram Outlet Solicits Ramadan Donations Via Phone's Cash Wallet, Crypto Wallets
A Palestinian outlet sanctioned by the U.S. for its involvement in fundraising for Hamas in the wake of the October 7, 2023 attack against Israel continues to solicit donations via cryptocurrency wallets or phone-based cash transfer applications.
On March 4, 2025, Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi Ansar Allah movement (the Houthis) claimed responsibility for the interception of "an American MQ-9 aircraft," after it allegedly penetrated Yemeni airspace and carried out "hostile missions" in the airspace above Yemen's Al-Hudaydah Governorate, in western Yemen.
On February 27, 2025, on its official website and on its X account, the Joint Forces on the West Coast of Yemen, which is supported by the UAE and loyal to the Internationally Recognized Government of Yemen, posted an 11-minute filmed confession in Arabic from a Houthi operative it had recently arrested.
On February 20, 2025, the official website of Iran-backed Yemen's Ansar Allah (Houthis) reported that the residents of Al-Dhale Governorate had donated 22 million Yemeni riyals (approximately $88,000 USD) in support of the Houthis' missile force, air force, military industry, and naval forces.
On February 27, 2025, a Yemeni outlet that opposes the Ansar Allah Movement (Houthis) news channel, released an article disclosing that the Houthis have been strategically exploiting the holy month of Ramadan, under the guise of spiritual and humanitarian initiatives, to expand their ideological influence and extract financial support.
An online Lebanese newspaper reported that a Lebanese Shi'ite council has requested that smuggled funds confiscated at Beirut International Airport be transferred to the council, despite the fact that the case is suspected of being an attempt to launder money from Iran to Hizbullah.
On February 23, 2025, Ibrahim Zakzaky, the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), attended the funeral of Lebanese Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut. In his remarks, Zakzaky referred to Nasrallah as a "symbol of the Islamic nation," emphasizing the shared commitment to their cause.
A Pakistani man who claims to be based in Melbourne, Australia has professed his support and admiration for slain Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and for slain Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar on X (formerly Twitter).

On February 28, 2025, a user of an Islamic State (ISIS)-operated server wrote a post listing "different ways to help the Islamic State," including making hijrah [traveling to ISIS territory] for the sake of waging jihad; waging jihad "where you are, killing the kuffar mushrikeen [infidels, polytheists] in their own countries, which would put great joy and happiness in all of the Muslimeen [Muslims'] muwahideen [monotheists'] hearts inshallah"; donating money; translating the group's material including PDFs, books, fatwas, lectures, videos, and the Al-Naba' weekly newspaper; making dawah [preaching] and "defending the Islamic State against the lies made by the kuffar"; and praying for ISIS fighters.

On March 2, 2025, Islamic State (ISIS) English-language media outlet, in cooperation with a pro-ISIS Foundation for Military Sciences, released an English poster titled "Go After Them, O Muwahid [Monotheist]."
On February 28, 2025, a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) Telegram channel which covers news related to the families of ISIS members who are detained in Syria's refugee camps, such as Al-Hol and Al-Roj, published in English a post soliciting donations aimed at providing aid in preparation of the holy fasting month of Ramadan.
