On February 12, 2021, the official outlet of Al-Qaeda's affiliate in the Sahel region, Jama'at Nusrat Al-Islam Wal-Muslimeen ("Group for Support of Islam and Muslims," or GSIM) – released a four-page statement in Arabic and English claiming responsibility for killing Malian soldiers.

On February 12 and 14, 2021, a member of a Telegram group devoted to jihad in the Indian Subcontinent shared two posts in English advising fellow group members on communication security.

 

In Open Letter, Afghan Taliban Urge American People To Press New Administration To Pull Forces Out Of Afghanistan, Renew Commitment to Doha Agreement

On February 16, 2020, the chief of the political office of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan issued a letter addressed to the American people, urging them to press the Biden administration to withdraw U.S. forces from Afghanistan and reminding them that the Afghan war is the longest military conflict in which they have been involved.
