A jihadist account on Twitter reports that an American soldier in Afghanistan who joined the Taliban four years ago and converted to Islam has died.
On October 3, 2014, the Islamic State (IS) via Al-I'tisam media company released a video message featuring Omar Hussein, who calls himself Abu Saeed Al-Britani, a British IS fighter, who urges Muslims in the West to execute attacks at home. Al-Britani also scolds the U.S. and the UK for their aerial campaign against the IS.

IS Video Depicts Normal Life And Eid Al-Adha Celebrations In Al-Raqqa Despite Coalition Attacks
On October 6, 2014, the Islamic State (IS) released a 12 minute video showing Eid Al-Adha celebrations in Al-Raqqa, Syria. The video is meant to show that life continues as normal in the IS's stronghold despite the coalition attacks against it. The video includes footage of bustling streets and local markets in Al-Raqqa; prayers at a local mosque on the day of Eid Al-Adha; providing food to Muslims; and children playing at a theme park. Several individuals, including a German IS member (picture below) deliver short messages where they congratulate the ummah for the holiday, while emphasizing that the ummah shall emerge victorious against its enemies.
76-Year-Old ISIS Fighter: Obama Is A Mule, Filthy Swine
In a video-clip posted on the Internet on October 6, septuagenarian ISIS fighter Abu Omar Al-Ansari calls U.S. President Obama a "mule of the Jews" and a "filthy swine." In a video-clip posted on the Internet in August 2013, he said that he hoped to be martyred alongside his sons and grandson who were fighting Jihad.

On October 3, 2014, the Islamic State (IS) released a video showing the beheading of British national Alan Henning. The video, titled "Another Message To America And Its Allies," was released by the Al-Furqan media company, and is 1:11 in duration.
In New Video Ansar Bait Al-Maqdis Shows Execution Of 'Spies', Vows To Settle Accounts With Israel
Introduction
On October 6, 2014, the jihadist organization, Ansar Bayt Al-Maqdis (ABM), operating in Sinai and Egypt, released an approximately 25-minute-long video titled "They Are the Enemy Beware of Them 2" featuring the testimony of three residents of the Sinai accused of collaboration with Israel and Egypt and their execution by beheading. Senior ABM official Abu Osama Al-Osama narrates the video and urges Sunni Muslims in Egypt and Sinai to do their best to combat treachery. He also threatens the Jews that ABM will settle accounts with them. Audio clips of Islamic State (IS) spokesman Abu Muhammad Al-'Adnani are played in the background. Featuring Al-'Adnani, carrying out IS style beheadings and raising the Tawhid flag identified with IS, all show that Ansar Bayt Al-Maqdis is drawing closer to IS. In the video we see ABM members setting up roadblocks in order to find collaborators by checking their names against lists of suspects stored on a laptop.
Influential Taliban figure and ex-Guantanamo detainee Abdul Rahim Muslimdost (pictured below) has taken an oath of allegiance to the caliph of the Islamic State, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, and has pledged him support in Afghanistan, according to an Afghan website.
Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) has released an audio statement of Ustad Ahmad Farooq, who describes Pakistan as being "occupied" by America and urges Pakistanis to wage jihad to establish the Islamic sharia in Pakistan and to free Pakistan from "American and Indian slavery and the clutches of their cronies."
The video was produced and released by "As-Sahab in the Indian Subcontinent" – the South Asia branch of Al-Qaeda's media arm As-Sahab. Ustad Ahmad Farooq is the head of Al-Qaeda's department of media and preaching for Pakistan. In the 5:48-minute audio speech titled "The Occupied Pakistan," he questions the celebration of August 14 as Pakistan's Independence Day, saying that Pakistan is actually under occupation, like Afghanistan on the other side of Durand Line (Afghanistan-Pakistan border).
A new jihadist video confirms that the chief of the Pakistan-based India-specific jihadist group Ansar ut-Tawheed fi Bilad Al-Hind is an Indian national who studied at the Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama seminary in the northern Indian city of Lucknow.

The Afghan Taliban have released a video featuring Taliban bombers planning for a coordinated attack on a joint British and Afghan forces base in Afghanistan's southern Helmand province that took place sometime last year.
