Sayed Esa Hussaini Mazari, the secretary-general of the Iran-backed Tebyan Cultural and Social Activities Center in Kabul, has blamed "global Zionism" for a series of concerts in Saudi Arabia, describing them as "soft attacks" against Islam and Muslims, according to a Dari-language report published by Afghan Voice Agency.
"The reality is that global Zionism, with the help of the usurper Israel and the overt and covert support of some Arab countries, especially Saudi Arabia, has undertaken serious actions against Islam and Muslims on two fronts. One is hard attacks, which for now they have started in Palestine, particularly Gaza, and are currently planning to create a disaster in Lebanon. The second is soft attacks aimed at weakening and even dismantling the religious beliefs and convictions of Muslims," Sayed Esa Hussaini Mazari, an influential Shi'ite community leader, said.
"I strongly condemn this insulting and anti-Islam act by the Zionist enemy and Saudi elements against the House of Allah," Mazari said, according to the report.

"Kabul: The full text of the reaction of Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Sayed Esa Hussaini Mazari to the desecration of the magnificent House of the Kaaba and Islamic values during the organization of an indecent music concert in Saudi Arabia is as follows:
"'Recently, images from Saudi Arabia have been circulating on social media, showing that at a vulgar music concert in Riyadh called 'Riyadh Season' a symbol resembling the sacred House of the Kaaba has been placed among singers and dancers, who are seen circling around it, which has hurt the feelings of Muslims all over the world. In these images, symbols of idols and idol-worship can also be seen.
"Saudi Arabia is the land of revelation and the place where the awakening movement led by Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) began and has always been the focus of attention for monotheists. Therefore, the sanctity of this land must always be preserved.
"In this regard, the duty of the rulers of this holy land to protect the place of gathering of believers is more than anyone else. It is evident that Satan and its agents constantly seek to desecrate sacred places and confront any symbol that represents divine rituals.
"However, if the light of spirituality, monotheism, and devotion to Allah could be extinguished by such actions, it would have been extinguished thousands of years ago. Yet this will never happen, as the almighty Allah has promised: 'They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah will perfect his light, although the unbelievers dislike it' – [Surah As-Saff, Verse 8].
"The current ruler of Saudi Arabia, [Crown Prince] Mohammed bin Salman, should be questioned and placed under serious pressure and threat to explain with what purpose and intention he not only turned a blind eye to such an anti-divine acts."
