California imam Hamdy Sadek prayed: "Oh, Allah, purify Al-Aqsa Mosque from the malevolence of the Jews," in a Friday sermon that was delivered at the Islamic Center of Hawthorne, in Hawthorne, California and posted on the mosque's official YouTube account on March 11, 2022. He said that Allah had warned the Prophet Muhammad that the Jews would be given the chance to attack him after Allah changed the prayer direction to the Kaaba, in Mecca, and that some "weak Muslims" would also be affected by the "media of the Jews." Sadek added that the Jews gave the prophets a "hard time" and killed them.

Hamdy Sadek: "Allah told him [Prophet Muhammad]: 'When I direct you [to pray] towards the Kaaba, the Jews will get a chance to attack you, and also the hypocrites. Also the weak Muslims will [be] affected by the media of the Jews.
