Details Emerge Of 'Shura Muraqba Five' Formed By Taliban And Al-Qaeda Commanders To Fight Against U.S. Forces In Afghanistan

Details have emerged about the Afghan and Pakistani Taliban commanders and Al-Qaeda planners who formed a five-member leadership commission to coordinate their fight against the U.S. in Afghanistan, according to various Pakistani media sources.

An Urdu-language press statement released to local journalists in the Pakistani jihadist region of Waziristan said, "All Mujahideen - local and foreigners - are to be informed that all jihadi forces, on the advice of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, have unanimously decided to form a five-member commission. The commission will be known as Shura Muraqba 5."
