In February 2025, the independent Egyptian daily Al-Masri Al-Yawm, which is privately owned by wealthy Egyptians, including Salah Diab and Naguib Sawiris, published numerous political cartoons portraying U.S. President Donald Trump as a Nazi. Published in response to Trump's political statements, among them the proposal to expel the residents of Gaza, depict him with a swastika and convey that the world is the victim of his Nazi ideology. The following is a sampling of these cartoons.
