Lebanese International Affairs Expert Abdo Al-Laqis: COVID-19 Was Made by the U.S. and Deliberately Sent to China; It Is Designed to Kill off People over 65, Because They Are Unproductive

#7954 | 02:50
Source: Al-Manar TV (Lebanon)

Lebanese international affairs expert Abdo Al-Laqis said in an April 20, 2020 interview on the Hizbullah-affiliated Al-Manar TV (Lebanon) that COVID-19 was developed and patented in the United States, that it was deliberately sent to China in order to weaken China’s economy, that it specifically targets people over the age of 65 in order to get rid of unproductive members of society, and that U.S. President Trump wouldn’t mind if 200 million Americans died as a result of the virus.

Abdo Al-Laqis: "I wouldn't rule out... Even if the coronavirus crisis ends, it's possible that a few months later, there will be a similar crisis."

Interviewer: "Of what sort?"

Al-Laqis: "A new virus will be created. We have entered a biological world war. This virus did not appear by coincidence."

[…]

"A while ago, I read early studies that found that in the entire world, there are 900 million more people over the age of 65 than there are younger people..."

[...]

"They are viewed as unproductive. They are consumers and that's it. The same study found that each one of these people costs their country 280,000 Euros per year.

[...]

"These people have become a burden for these countries – their housing, their medical care, their food...

[...]

"This is why they treat them like this. [They say:] 'they need to be gotten rid of.' This virus, according to virologists and to studies... I'm not a virologist, but I'm telling you what I read in reports... This virus is composed of four kinds of viruses, one of which is AIDS.

[...]

"This wasn't created by nature. All the virologists have confirmed that it is not a single-celled organism."

Interviewer: "Before coronavirus, there was SARS, and there was [MERS] in Saudi Arabia...

Al-Laqis: "This virus was patented in the U.S. in 2015. You can find this on Google, just search 'patent registry.' It is under the names of three scientists who invented it and patented it in 2015. It is called COVID-19 because it was improved in 2019. At the beginning of the crisis, President Trump..."

Interviewer: "So the Americans developed it and sent it to China?"

Al-Laqis: "Yes.

[...]

"Also, why did [the U.S.] target China? Because the Chinese economy is better than the U.S. economy by trillions of dollars. America has roughly 300 million people..."

Interviewer: "330 million."

Al-Laqis: "If 200 million non-productive Americans die, and there are 100 million Americans left... As far as [Trump] is concerned, this would be fine. He has said that after the coronavirus, the American economy will soar like a rocket."

ISIS Supporter On Facebook: The Pandemic Will Topple The U.S. And Europe, Enable ISIS To Conquer Rome

print
April 27, 2020
The following report is now a complimentary offering from MEMRI's Jihad and Terrorism Threat Monitor (JTTM). For JTTM subscription information, click here. In a series of Facebook posts about the aftermath of the coronavirus pandemic, Algerian ISIS supporter “Nouri Al-Jazairi” writes that the pandemic will lead to the collapse of the West and of capitalism, and to the rise of the Islamic State (ISIS), enabling it to gain a foothold in Europe and eventually to conquer Rome. Al-Jazairi states that the pandemic has merely brought to the surface severe economic problems that the Western politicians have previously managed to hide from the public. Now, he contends, internal tensions in these states will increase, strengthening the extreme right, and prompting Muslims to join ISIS en masse. The economic crisis will also cause the U.S. and Russia to withdraw their forces from the Middle East, which in turn will lead to the downfall of its rulers and enable ISIS to spread. The writer refers to ISIS as “the Black Hole”. This was inspired by a tweet posted by the NorsForStudies, a research center identified with the Syrian opposition. Reporting on clashes between the Syrian regime forces and ISIS in the Syrian desert, the tweet referred to this area as a ‘black hole’ due to the ongoing violence there. Nouri Al-Jazairi adopted the term, using it not as an insult but as a code-word for ISIS. Background On Nouri Al-Jazairi The writer uses several names, including Nour Al-Din Al-Jazairi, Nouri Al-Jazairi and Nour Al-Din Qadri (sometimes also spelled Nordine Kadri). His Facebook page (which currently has 2,680 followers)[1] seems to be the main platform on which he writes, but has also has a blog on Blogspot, a Twitter page (1,214 followers)[2] and a Telegram channel (1,025 followers).[3] He lists his current place of residence as Luxemburg, but there is no information to corroborate this. Based on the information on his Facebook account -- such as websites he has “liked” – he may be from Zeralda, a suburb of the Algerian capital. He claims to be “closely familiar” with the West, indicating that he perhaps currently lives there or lived there in the past. He is fluent in French, and uses it on some of the websites he writes on. The profile image on the Nouri Al-Jazairi Facebook account The following are translated excerpts from two of his Facebook posts about the aftermath of the pandemic: We Will Soon See The Collapse Of Traditional Capitalism Led By America In a post headed “A Quick Chat about the World after Corona,” Nouri Al-Jazairi wrote: “The Western world, led by America, is entering a deep economic recession, crushed by debts that it has long hidden from its citizens under a guise of investment and economic development and with false election promises. The world will not be the same after the coronavirus. Moreover, the virus will expose the West’s coverup of its failure in handling its internal and external debts… “In the past two weeks America lost 10 million jobs… “Let me repeat, I am talking about numbers and a reality that the West will face in the future. How can a weeks-old virus be capable of devastating the economies of all those countries we thought as firm as mountains, with [their] science, foresight, expertise and progress[?] How can the virus cast the capitalist economies into a recession said to be the worst since 1945?” Nouri Al-Jazairi's blog The writer goes on to note that, even before the outbreak of the pandemic, there were calls in European states to leave the EU, and adds: “The West, led by America and the rich countries of the EU, was faced with hard choices [regarding] how to solve its financial problems (the internal debts to the governments) and how to deal with the economic recession it entered years ago and announced [only] with the outbreak of the coronavirus [pandemic]… We will soon see the collapse of traditional capitalism, led by America, and the beginning of an conflict with the extreme right in that country. “The EU will collapse, as Germany and France will withdraw from it. OPEC will collapse, since the West will have no need for oil due to the economic recession. The protests in America and Europe will increase, with demands for right wing parties to lead those countries toward racism and fascism, whose first victims will be numerous migrant minorities. Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal and several East European countries will announce bankruptcy, leading to an increase in chaos, feudalism and assassinations. Russia will withdraw into itself, and retreat from Syria and some of its [other] areas of influence. China’s star will rise, as it shall temporarily become the strong pole [in international relations]. There will be constructive anarchy in all Arab and Islamic states, without exception, beginning with the Middle East and the Arab Maghreb [North Africa]. “The ‘Black Hole’ [ISIS] will grow as people [begin] flocking to it.” [4] Nouri Al-Jazairi's Twitter account People Will Flock To ISIS, First In Bosnia, And Then In The Heart Of Western Europe In another post, captioned “The Black Hole after Corona,” Nouri Al-Jazairi elaborated on his vision of the world after the pandemic: The economic crisis in Europe will lead to the rise of the extreme right. This, in turn, will lead to the oppression of Muslim minorities, prompting them to join ISIS and enabling this organization to grain strength and spread as the Western governments grow weaker. ISIS will thus gain a foothold in Europe, first in Bosnia and later in Western Europe, eventually leading to the conquest of Rome, the heart of Christendom. Al-Jazairi wrote: “The world is now entering a terrifying economic recession. A severe financial crisis is about to rock people with limited income in the West, making families and individuals poorer and psychologically isolated. They will look for saviors among the current politicians, even at the price of blood[shed] and being cast into the lap of feudalism and of the extreme right… Protests will start, initially calling to sweep away the current Western rulers, especially in Europe, and to uproot their policies of governance and administration, [a task] that the European politicians have long been putting off, in favor of lying to their peoples in order to hide the reality, namely that the politicians and economists have become helpless in the face of the devastating divine [blow] they have sustained…. “The scope of the crisis has become a weight and a burden on the future of the [present] generations, which are bound by current debts and are facing the upcoming economic crisis. It will crush the West’s arrogance, reduce its power and curb its spread. The problems the West will experience very soon will [also] rock the thrones of the Arab and Muslim rulers, especially in the Middle East. America will decline, Russia will leave, NATO will retreat temporarily from Turkey due to the financial crisis, and numerous humanitarian organizations, whose task was [actually] entirely to spy on our Arab countries, will disappear. “Being closely familiar with the West, I can see that [masses of people] will soon flock to swear allegiance [bay’ah] to the Black Hole. I think it will begin in Bosnia, and then spread to the heart of Western Europe, due to the chaos [that region] will soon experience and the oppression Muslims will suffer in many of those countries, which will declare the raising of the Cross by letting right-wing parties take over the European political scene. But this disaster will surely lead to good. Just as the people in some countries of the Arab region were hit by upheavals, so too will the Muslims in Europe. Events will soon grind them and bring them, too, back to their true religion. “How else can Rome be conquered, when Allah permits it? The future [role] of the Muslims in the West is surely to reinforce the Black Hole and its policies of expansion. In truth, we see this day after day. By Allah, this is one of God’s promises to his righteous worshippers who elevated the word of tawhid [monotheism] since their days in the desert, until they transformed into a state and a power that fought all the nations of unbelief… The battles will shift to unexpected areas, and we shall see a generation of Muslims that, [initially], will believe in [using] power to establish their identity. [But] afterwards they will work to attain power in order to please Allah. “Today we can say that the path of glory and elevation in this world, and of contentment in the afterlife, is paved with the blood and body parts of those who righteously [worshipped] Allah and were righteously [rewarded] by him with another life. The light of this path belongs to those who recognize the powerful appeal of the Black Hole and what it has done to ensure that the sons of the Islamic nation unite under one banner and one unified leadership.” [5] Post by Nouri Al-Jazairi shared by a pro-ISIS distribution channel on Telegram     [1] Facebook.com/Nordine.qadri.18, launched in February 2020. Israel Destroyed by Arab Countries, U.S. Collapses into Civil War in New Egyptian Dystopian Sci-Fi Series for Ramadhan

#7953 |
Source: ON TV (Egypt)

On April 24, 2020, ON TV (Egypt) aired the first episode of an Egyptian science fiction series for Ramadhan called "The End." The series takes places in 2120 and depicts a dystopian world in which "unauthorized" learning is prohibited. In one scene, a man is shown teaching a group of children about the history of the 21st century. He says that the United States collapsed into a civil war and the Arab countries used the opportunity to destroy their "sworn enemy," Israel. He explains that the majority of Jews in Israel fled to their "original countries" in Europe and elsewhere. As the man is teaching the lesson, an aircraft filled with stormtroopers lands outside the building the lesson is being held in. The soldiers storm the building and their commander informs the teacher that he is being accused of violating the decisions of the "Education Co. for Selective Teaching" and of the legal administration of the holy city of Jerusalem. The commander further informs the man that he is being sentenced to banishment in the radiation zones in West Africa. As the soldiers were storming into the building, one of the children tried to run away, and the commander shot and killed him.

Teacher: "In the first half of the 21st century, the balance of power in the world started to change. All the countries of Northern America used to be united in what was called 'the United States of America.' Then they began to weaken, fall apart, and fight one another. What used to be known as the Arab countries grew more powerful economically and militarily. The United States of America had been the main backer of the Zionist state. When the Arab countries got the chance to get rid of their sworn enemy, they launched the war that was called 'The Jerusalem Liberation War.'

"The war was quickly over and the Zionist state of Israel was destroyed before 100 years  had passed since its establishment. The vast majority of Jews in Israel fled back to their original countries in Europe and various countries of the world..."

Commander: "You are accused of violating the decisions of the legal administration of holy Jerusalem."

Teacher: "Criminals! God will exact revenge upon you!"

Commander: "In keeping with the decisions of the education administration to banish anyone who violates the decisions of Education Co. for Selective Teaching, you are sentenced to banishment in nuclear radiation zones in the Southern part of West Africa."

Gazan Journalist Alaa Al-Asi: Any Form of Dialogue with Israelis – Even Peace Activists – That Takes Place Outside of the Framework of the Resistance Is Collaboration with the Enemy

#7952 | 01:14
Source: The Internet - "Shehab News Agency (Hamas)"

Gazan journalist Alaa Al-Asi said in a video that was uploaded to Facebook by the Shehab News Agency (Hamas) on April 18, 2020 that Rami Aman, a Palestinian activist who participated in a two-hour video conference with Israelis, has been arrested by Gazan police for normalizing relations with Israel and in order to be interrogated about receiving funds from Israel. She said that any dialogue with Israelis that takes place outside of the framework of the Palestinian resistance is a form of normalization that hinders the struggle to end injustice, and she emphasized that all undertakings such as joint activities, cooperation, or dialogue with any Israelis, including Israeli peace activists, must be viewed as collaboration with the enemy.

Alaa Al-Asi: "Rami Aman, a Palestinian advocate, participated in a two-hour Skype conversation with Israelis. This normalization meeting via Skype angered the Palestinians, especially in Gaza. On the next day, the police in Gaza arrested Rami Aman for interrogation on cases of receiving external funding from Israel and other issues, including normalization with Israel.

[...]

"Dialogue – if it occurs outside the resistance framework – becomes dialogue for the sake of dialogue, which is a form of normalization, that hinders the struggle to end injustice.

[...]

"In the view of anti-normalizers, no form of joint activity, cooperation, or dialogue with Israelis is acceptable – even engaging with Israeli peace activists, who have the best of intentions towards them. All such undertakings must be viewed as collaboration with the enemy."

Iranian Report: IRGC Launches "Noor" Multipurpose Military Satellite into Orbit Using Ghasedak Satellite Carrier

#7951 | 03:16
Source:

On April 22, 2020, Channel 1 (Iran) aired a report about the IRGC’s launch of the “Noor” satellite into orbit using the Ghasedak satellite carrier. The report said that Noor established its orbit at an altitude of 425 kilometers, and the reporter described the satellite as a multipurpose satellite, as the IRGC’s first military satellite, and as a symbol and a turning point in the defensive power of the Islamic Republic of Iran. IRGC Aerospace Force Commander General Amir Ali Hajizadeh explained that Noor and the Ghasedak satellite carrier use solid fuels and a propulsion mechanism that have non-metallic composite bodies, and propulsion “nozzles.”

Reporter 1: "Today at sunrise, in the middle of Iran's central desert, the Ghasedak satellite carrier successfully launched the Noor 1 satellite into orbit, at an altitude of 425 kilometers. This was done in three stages and in 510 seconds. This is the first Iranian military satellite to [orbit] at this altitude."

Reporter 2: "These are the new images that we received from Noor. They show the moment of separation [from the carrier] and the beginning of the satellite's various stages. In its first minutes, the Noor satellite that was launched this morning from Iran's central desert sent signals to the Zahedan and Chabahar stations. Within 90 minutes and after a full orbit around the Earth, its signal was again received in northwestern Iran.

"Both the satellite and the satellite carrier were entirely made in Iran. Noor is a multipurpose satellite. It plays a role in [Iran's] defense. What you're seeing now is the moment of the launch of the IRGC's first military satellite. In a few minutes, the satellite will enter orbit and it will become a symbol of the defensive power of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Only 510 seconds after the launch, it was confirmed that the satellite entered the desired path of orbit and that the launch was successful."

Group of IRGC Officers: "Allah Akbar! Allah Akbar!"

IRGC Officer: "Send our gratitude to the Leader [Khamenei] for the warm message he has sent us. The satellite's successful entry into orbit is our act of thanks."

Reporter 2: "We can now view the world from space. This is an increase in the IRGC's strategic intelligence [capabilities] and in its powerful defensive capabilities."

General Amir Ali Hajizadeh: "The advantage of this satellite and of this satellite carrier, compared to similar [technologies] thatother countries have is that they use motors and propellants that use solid fuels and that they use propulsion mechanisms that have non-metallic composite bodies. This requires the use of a propulsion nozzle."

Reporter 2: "The Noor satellite established orbit at an altitude of 425 kilometers and it began carrying out its tasks. Some additional details have been shown about this satellite, but the [international] powers know better than anyone that this satellite is a turning point in the defensive capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran."

British Jihadi, One Of EU's Most Wanted ISIS Fighters, Arrested In Spain This Week – 2014 MEMRI Report Gives Exclusive Look At His Early Social Media Activity

April 24, 2020
Special Dispatch No. 8713
The following report is now a complimentary offering from MEMRI's Jihad and Terrorism Threat Monitor (JTTM). For JTTM subscription information, click here. On April 21, 2020, Spanish police arrested Abdel Majed Abdel Bary, a British-Egyptian jihadi who had joined the Islamic State (ISIS) in Syria.[1] Bary, whom a police report called "one of the most wanted terrorists in Europe,"[2] was arrested in the city of Almeria in southern Spain with two other men as part of a counter-terrorism raid, and may have entered Spain shortly before via Algeria. Bary was known in London as the rapper "Jinny" before joining ISIS in 2013. In 2014, MEMRI JTTM reported on Bary's activity on social media, where he discussed his support for jihad, the mujahideen, and the ISIS caliphate, his dissatisfaction with his wealthy upbringing in the West, and some of his experiences in Syria. The following MEMRI JTTM report, originally published on July 2, 2014, and later updated, gives an exclusive look at Bary's early social media activity.[3] "Jinny" – A British ISIS Fighter Active In Syria Abdel Majed Abdel Bary is now believed to be one of several British jihadis under investigation following the beheading of American photojournalist James Wright Foley on August 19, 2014.[4] A British fighter named Abdel Majed Abdel Bary, who uses the names "Jinny" and "Abu AK47 Al-Britani" on Twitter, has been fighting with ISIS in Syria since late 2013. According to information he provided on his Twitter account, he comes from a wealthy family in London that apparently shares his extremist views, and he used to be a rapper[5] until he decided that such music was anathema to Islam. The following are further details from his Twitter account: Jinny writes that he lived in the upscale Maida Vale area in London. On March 17, 2014, he posted a photo of himself with his father, with the caption, "Miss my father, the realest, May Allah Free you & unite us in jannah [heaven] Inshallah [God willing]." This post and some of the responses to it indicate that Jinny's father is in prison. On December 12 Jinny tweeted: "Lately I been having nuff [enough] dreams of my father getting released. Kheir Inshallah." A March 13 tweet reveals that Jinny's younger brother is serving a life sentence. He wrote: "My lil brother ahmed got sentenced to life... 26 years minimum... love lil bro see you in the afterlife inshallah #Kasper". In late 2013 he was already a jihad supporter, as evident from a September 2013 tweet: "Don't believe the media and government when they tamper and scar the image of the mujahideen, it's all lies... These kuffs [kuffar, disbelievers] are terrified of an Islamic state/Khalifa [caliphate] being established because they wont be able to oppress muslims anymore." However, at that time he was still a fan of popular music. On September 10 he tweeted the lyrics of the song "Pour It Up" by Rihanna, a provocative pop star: "All I see is signs all I see is dollar signs, money on ma [my] mind money money on my ma mind. When I touch down it's a madness". Aware that his jihadi ideology conflicted with his musical ambitions, Jinny left the rap world and deleted all online traces of his former self. He reveals this in an October 9 tweet: "For everyone that still asks me about where my videos gone, like I said a while back I quit music & I took the vids I can down." An October 6 tweet shows that he was already contemplating leaving the UK: "Imprisonment for me is a chance to be alone with my Lord. To be killed is martyrdom and to be exiled from my land is a spiritual journey." His first tweets from Syria appear on December 8, 2014: "Alhamdulilah [thank God] for the blessing of islamd & jihad. Man think theyre livin in 'hell' in the uk, come out here n [and] youll appreciate what you got night & day lol [laugh out loud]." After various British tabloids reported on Jinny's exploits in Syria, he lashed out at their descriptions of him as a terrorist and mocked what he called the errors in their reports. Responding to a Daily Mail reporter who claimed he had ties to the infamous British hate preacher Anjem Choudary,[6] Jinny tweeted: "& btw I aint got nothing to do with anjem choudry hes just a microphone jihadi so what you on about you deluded racist?" On January 12 he commented on what he sees as a double standard in the West's view of those who fight in Syria: "Funny how the UK &US wanted so called intervention in Syria before yet anyone who goes there to fight is labeled a 'Terrorist.'" On February 12th he wrote that he and a fellow mujahid had been kidnapped and robbed by fighters from a rival rebel group: "Me & Abu Hussein al britani got kidnapped/tortured by FSA [Free Syrian Army/IF [Islamic Front] scum they stole our 4 ak's and a 7mm, my vechile[sic] & our phones and cash." Eleven days later he wrote about a close-call he had had: "huge car bomb went off right outside my place today, woke up to ceiling crashin[crashing] down lol. lots of shaheeds[martyrs]. Alhamdulilah all is blessed tho[though]." Jinny is vocal in his condemnation of those who weigh in on the conflict from the comfort and safety of the West. On February 2014 he tweeted: "If you aint in syria you have no right to commentate about the actions and intentions of the mujahideen, hold your tongue mr. mufti. Chillin on your sofa tryna convince yourself jihad aint fard [obligatory] right now to make yourself feel better about neglecting your duty is weak akhi [my brother].   Refering to the rapid advances and victories of ISIS in Iraq on June 16, he posted a series of tweets mocking the West's policies vis-à-vis Iraq: "Look how much trillion $ you spent in iraq to try and prevent this and how many years wasted. Only to be disappointed we still coming strong how much wasted trying to train the Iraq army to combat 'terrorism' and how much billions spent on weapons. Only to fall in our hands now."   In a June 16 tweet he threatened the "scummy pagans" in the West: "Wallahi [I swear to God] the days of muslim silent oppression are over, the lions are coming for you filthy kuffs, beheadings in your own backyard soon.
