On January 6, 2020, the pro-Hizbullah Lebanese daily Al-Akhbar published threats of retaliation against the U.S. for its assassination of IRGC Qods Force commander Qassem Soleimani. The daily's front page featured the headline "Great War of Liberation," which echoes statements made by Hizbullah Secretary Hassan Nasrallah in his recent speech in response to Soleimani's killing.  Beneath the headline was an image of the aftermath of the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing, in which 241 Americans were killed – a thinly veiled threat that American targets in Lebanon and throughout the region will be targeted. Al-Akhbar front page, showing the aftermath of the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing The daily also published a map showing the location of U.S. troops in the Middle East, describing them as "possible targets." The daily’s editor, Ibrahim Al-Amin, also published an article saying that any American presence in the region will from now on be a target of this "Great War of Liberation."[1] Al-Akhbar Map Shows U.S. Military Bases In Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, The Gulf, Turkey, And Jordan     Map of U.S. military bases in the Middle East published by Al-Akhbar The Al-Akhbar map claims to show "the American military deployment in the region, with each point representing a possible target for the response to the assassination of [Qods Force commander Qassem] Soleimani and [PMF deputy-commander Abu Mahdi] Al-Muhandis." It specifies the number of U.S. soldiers in each country as well and the locations of their main bases, divided into air bases (marked in orange), naval bases (in blue), and ground forces bases (in green). Light blue markings indicate the major locations of U.S. troops in Syria. An inset in the bottom-right corner focused on U.S. bases in the countries of the Gulf. It read: "Kuwait: hosts the largest American military presence in the Gulf. The U.S. soldiers are concentrated in the Doha and Arifjan bases, in [Camp] Buehring and [Camp] Virginia, and in the Ali Salem and Ahmad Al-Jaber air bases. "Bahrain: most of the soldiers are concentrated in Al-Jafir base, which contains the Salman port, and in the Sheikh 'Issa base and Al-Muharaq air base. [Bahrain also] hosts the base of the [U.S. Navy's] Fifth Fleet. "Qatar: hosts Al-'Udaid base, which is the largest American air base outside of the U.S., and one of its most important bases in the Gulf. It houses the major Air Force headquarters, the Combined Air Operations Center, and the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing." The map depicts troop concentrations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan, Oman, and Turkey. Regarding Oman, the map mentions that it "allows the U.S. to use its airports and seaports." It also shows a ship in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Oman, representing the Fifth Fleet's area of operations. Al-Akhbar Editorial: "All American Presence In Our Countries Must Be Swept Away" The same issue of the daily also featured an article by its chief editor, Ibrahim Al-Amin, which stated that Nasrallah's recent speech launched a battle of liberation against the U.S. presence in the region. He wrote: "[Nasrallah] has launched a battle to liberate our countries from any American military presence, no matter its form, size or character. He determined once and for all that there is no legitimacy to any American military presence in our countries, and no legitimacy to whoever legitimizes this occupation. Simply put, this means that whoever finds himself capable of carrying out his role [of fighting the U.S. presence], must do so calmly, patiently and wisely, so as to render the blow more painful and make it as deadly as possible. "This is not everyone’s task. We are the ones who were, remain, and will end in this option. We never for a day were objective, not even seeking a cease fire or appeasement. Since we know the danger posed by the enemy with his weapons and other [means at his disposal], we know that our mission must be clear with clear titles: "Every American presence in our countries is an oppressive presence, has the nature of occupation, and must be resisted, whether in the form of soldiers or aircraft. "Every American presence in our countries is a presence of occupation which must be swept away, even if it is in the form of advisors, professionals, diplomats and human rights activists, expertise developers, financiers, and managers of civilian suffering associations. "Every American presence in our countries is an oppressive occupation, even if it wears the cloak of the academic, or that of the man of thought and science, and it must be swept away as well. "The matter is not tied to these elements only, but to all of America’s servants and followers, those who live on its crumbs. We shall deal with every receiver of American support, political, financial, or media, as though it is part of this occupation and must be resisted and defeated as well. "We shall be clear, as we always have been, that we shall not heed to anyone. Not to a corrupt authority that must be swept away along with the occupation, here in Lebanon as well as Iraq, or any country of the region, nor will we heed any fools who fear confrontation under the pretext of the heavy cost it will bring upon the poor people of the world. "The people around us must know that our choice and our awareness is that we are part of this beautiful, radiant resistance, in the manner of the great martyrs. [The resistance] is the only one capable of designing the future we want, in spite of all the hardship, oppression, and blood. It is war!"   [1] Al-Akhbar (Lebanon), January 6, 2020.

Shi'ite Militias In Bahrain And Saudi Arabia Threaten To Avenge Soleimani And Al-Muhandis By Targeting U.S. Interests

January 6, 2020
Bahrain, Saudi Arabia | Special Dispatch No. 8468
The following report is now a complimentary offering from MEMRI's Jihad and Terrorism Threat Monitor (JTTM). For JTTM subscription information, click here. Following the U.S. assassination of IRGC Qods Force commander Qassem Soleimani and PMF deputy-commander 'Abd Al-Mahdi Al-Muhandis, several Shi'ite factions in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia threatened to avenge their deaths by targeting U.S. interests. Militias In Bahrain: American Forces And Interests In The Country Are Legitimate Targets On January 3, 2020, several Bahraini militias issued a joint statement in response to the killing of Soleimani and Al-Muhandis. The statement was issued by the following organizations: Saraya Al-Mukhtar (The Al-Mukhtar Brigades), Saraya Tha'er Allah (The Vengeance of Allah Brigades), Saraya Al-Muqawama Al-Sha'biya (the Popular Resistance Brigades), Saraya Al-Ashtar (the Al-Ashtar Brigades, a U.S.-designated terror organization), and Saraya Wa'ed Allah (the Promise of Allah Brigades). In the statement, the militias declared their intention to respond to the killing of the two senior figures, adding that they view all American interests and the American presence in Bahrain as legitimate targets. It should be noted that the headquarters of the U.S. Navy's Fifth Fleet is in the Bahraini capital of Manama. The statement reads: "America, the country of arrogance, and its stupid president Trump have perpetrated a great and treacherous crime by assassinating the jihadi warrior and great commander Hajj Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Qods Force, as well as the great jihadi warrior Hajj Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, deputy head of the PMF, along with many other commanders and jihadi warriors of the resistance axis." The factions sent condolences and blessings for their deaths to the entire Islamic nation, writing that the two commanders "left behind them thousands of resistance fighters" who are armed and ready to follow in their footsteps. They added: "We, all the factions of the Islamic resistance in Bahrain, stress that the current campaign is a campaign of truth vs. falsehood, and we are an inseparable part of this campaign, in which victory will surely be on the side of our resistance axis. We are party to this open campaign, and [therefore] it behooves us to respond with determination to this crime and to lead the response to the tyrants, headed by the arrogant Americans. We view all [U.S.] interests, and [the American] presence in Bahrain, as legitimate targets for us, and we will play a role and take a position in avenging the precious blood of the righteous martyrs…"[1] Hizbullah Al-Hijaz Brigades: The Only Possible Reaction Is To Avenge Their Death, Expel The Americans From The Region And Topple The Saudi Regime The Hizbullah Al-Hijaz Brigades likewise responded to the assassination in a January 5, 2020 statement, which said that the only possible reaction was to avenge the death of Soleimani and Al-Muhandis, expel the U.S. forces from the region, destroy Israel and overthrow the Saudi regime. The statement read: "We firmly condemn the cowardly terrorist operation and heinous crime perpetrated by the Great Satan – the U.S. regime – when it targeted the resistance axis commander Hajj Qassem Soleimani, the deputy-commander of the Iraqi PMF, Hajj Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, and those who were with them. By committing this crime, as well as the rocket attack on the facilities of the Hizbullah Brigades, [which is part of the] PMF, in Iraq, the U.S. violated every international norm, and especially [its] signed security agreements with the Iraqi government. "The American regime and its agents in the region, the Sa'ud [royal family], thought that by killing the jihad fighters and the resistance leaders they would weaken our determination. They did  not know that death does not frighten us, for death for us is joy and martyrdom is an honor bestowed by Allah. The nation that produced the martyr Hajj Qassem Soleimani and the martyr Hajj Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, and the other leaders and martyrs, will produce many others like them, who will continue on this sacred and divine path [of fighting] America, the Great Satan. We and our brothers in the resistance axis will take no decision except to avenge the blood of the martyrs, expel America from the region, destroy the Zionist entity and topple the Sa'ud regime. "We call upon our people and the peoples of the region to take responsibility and understand, in this dangerous phase, that the true enemy is America, which seeks to create chaos and wars, and to force our peoples to normalize [their relations] with the occupying Zionist entity. [The U.S.] is the one that supports the criminal Sa'ud [regime] that kills our brothers in Yemen, Iraq, Syria and Bahrain, and kills our people in the Arabian Peninsula, and it is the one that supplies [this regime] with military gear and deadly weapons."[2]       [1] Al-abdal.net, January 3, 2020. In Iran, "Gift" Of $80 Million Offered For Head Of "Crazy Little Man With Yellow Hair" - Trump

#7701 | 02:12
Source: Khorasan Razavi TV (Iran)

When Qasem Soleimani's funeral procession passed through the city of Mashhad, the director of the ceremony announced an initiative to collect $80 million – one dollar from every Iranian citizen – to offer as a prize to whoever provides Trump's head. "We will donate $80 million as a gift," he declared, to "whoever brings us the head of that little crazy man with the yellow hair." The ceremony aired on Khorasan TV (Iran) on January 5.

Crowd: "Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America!"

MC: "At the beginning of the Revolution, a historic sentence in the epics of our country and revolution was written. The great man of this Revolution (Khomeini) said: "If every Muslim in the world pours a bucket of water, Israel will be washed in the stream." Today, we want to do something. Everybody, anywhere in the world... This is an independent initiative by the people of Mashhad, on behalf of the people of Iran. If 80 million Iranians put one dollar aside, it will amount to $80 million. We will independently donate $80 million as a gift to whoever brings us the head of the man who gave the order to murder and assassinate the great man of the Revolution. Whoever brings us the head of that crazy little man with the yellow hair will get $80 million as a gift from the great Iranian people, who took this initiative. If you agree, declare your consent with cries of 'Allah Akbar.'"

Crowd: "Allah Akbar! Allah Akbar! Allah Akbar! Allah Akbar!"

Hizbullah Sec.-Gen. Hassan Nasrallah: Everyone in the Region Should Seek Retribution; Trump will Lose the Elections when U.S. Troops Arrive in Coffins; Soleimani’s Shoe is Worth Trump’s Head

#7700 | 04:47
Source: Al-Manar TV (Lebanon)

Al-Manar TV (Lebanon) aired on January 5 an address by Hizbullah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, who said that everyone in the region must "seek just retribution" for Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis. Nasrallah continued to say that many people have suggested that a senior American military figure should be killed in retribution, however, no one is of the caliber of Soleimani and Al-Muhandis. He said: "Qasem Soleimani’s shoe is worth the heads of Trump and all the American leaders." Nasrallah stated that it was the American military who killed Soleimani and Al-Muhandis so they will be the ones to pay the price. He promised that "the Americans will leave our region humiliated, defeated, terrorized, and horrified, just as they had left before." He added that "when the coffins of the American soldiers and officers [...] start arriving in the United States, Trump and his administration will understand that they have lost the region and will lose the elections as well."

Hassan Nasrallah: "The Americans have felt recently, as they themselves have said, that they were about to lose Iraq. They did not occupy Iraq in order to usher in democracy, not in order to introduce elections, not in order to bring about independence and prosperity for the Iraqis. They occupied Iraq and toppled the Saddam Hussein regime in order to take over Iraq and its resources. When they realized that the Iraqi people want to be independent and liberated, they unleashed on them all their terrorist groups, which they themselves founded, and brought from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and all over the world. Between 2003 and 2011, the Iraqi people faced a wave of suicide bombings by thousands of suicide bombers, who blew themselves up in mosques, churches, schools, markets, and religious sites. They killed the elite of Iraq's leaders and figures. The officers of the American occupation were standing behind these terrorist groups, facilitating [their attacks]."

Crowd: "Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America!"

[...]

Nasrallah: "All of us in our region and in our nation should seek just retribution. What is just retribution? I'd like to act with transparency. We've been through this before, and I don't want to go into details. Someone may suggest – in meetings, over social networks, in Iran, in the press, in the media – that just retribution should be a figure of the same caliber as Qasem Soleimani. Who? The American Chief-of-Staff? The Secretary of Defense? The commander of CENTCOM? There is no figure of the same caliber as Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis. Qasem Soleimani's shoe is worth the heads of Trump and all the American leaders.

[...]

"There is no one on par with Qasem Soleimani or Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, whom we can execute and avenge their blood. In all honesty and transparency, the just retribution is as follows: The American military presence in our region. The American military presence in our region."

Crowd: "Death to America! Death to America!"

Nasrallah: "U.S. military bases..."

Crowd: "Death to America! Death to America! Death to America! Death to America!"

[...]

Nasrallah: "The U.S. bases, the U.S. warships, every American soldier and officer in our region, our countries, and our lands... The American military killed them and it will be the one to pay the price. That is the equation.

[...]

"If the forces of the resistance and the peoples of the region act in that direction, I am telling you that the Americans will leave our region humiliated, defeated, terrorized, and horrified, just as they had left before. The martyrdom-seekers who drove America out of our region in the past are still here and they are many more than they were in the past.

[...]

"When the coffins of the American soldiers and officers – people who came here in vertical position and return in horizontal position – start arriving in the United States, Trump and his administration will understand that they have lost the region and will lose the elections as well."

Russia’s Officials And Media Commentators React To The Killing Of Soleimani

January 6, 2020
Russia | Special Dispatch No. 8467
On January 3, the Iranian General Qassem Soleimani, Commander of the special-task Quds Force of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, was killed by the US military, in an airstrike on Baghdad airport. On that very day, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov held a telephone conversation with his American counterpart, United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. In their conversation,“Lavrov stressed that targeted actions by a UN member state to eliminate officials of another UN member state, and on the territory of a third sovereign country without its knowledge grossly violate the principles of international law and deserve condemnation. “The Russian Minister pointed out that this targeted killing is fraught with grave consequences for the regional peace and stability, and will leads to a new round of escalation. Moscow urged Washington to give up ‘illegal military actions to achieve its goals on the international arena and to settle all problems at the negotiating table,” the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported. (Mid.ru, January 3, 2020) On January 4, Lavrov had a telephone conversation with Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, at the latter’s initiative. The ministers stressed that this US action was a grave violation of the fundamental standards of international law and does not contribute to resolving the complicated issues in the Middle East. They also added that this action will trigger a new round of escalation in the region. (Mid.ru, January 4, 2020) On January 4, Lavrov discussed the killing of Soleimani also with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu. (Mid.ru, January 4, 2020) Russian President Vladimir Putin and French President Emmanuel Macron expressed their concerns in a phone call over the killing of Soleimani. “The two presidents wished each other a happy New Year. Both sides expressed concern over the death of Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Quds Force, who was killed as a result of a US strike on Baghdad’s airport. It was stated that this attack could escalate tensions in the region,” the Kremlin’s website reported. (Kremlin.ru, January 3, 2020) Below is an overview of Russian official and media reactions to the killing of Soleimani: Iranian citizens residing in Moscow and Russian nationals brought flowers to the Iranian Embassy in Moscow to honor the memory of Soleimani. (Source: Iinstagram.com/ventisunion, January 4, 2020) Iranian citizens residing in Moscow and Russian nationals brought flowers to the Iranian Embassy in Moscow to honor the memory of Soleimani. (Source: Iinstagram.com/ventisunion, January 4, 2020) The Russian Defense Ministry: Soleimani Was A Competent Military Leader The Russian Defense Ministry stated: “General Qasem Soleimani was a competent military leader, and commanded well-deserved authority and significant influence on the entire Middle Eastern region. Under his direct leadership, well before the formation of the so called US driven 'international coalition', the armed resistance to the international terrorist groups ISIS and Al-Qaeda in Syria and Iraq was organized. His personal service in the war against ISIS on the territory of Syria is indisputable." (Tvzvezda.ru, January 4, 2020)                         Russian soldiers in Syria pay condolences at Iranian Embassy in Damascus (Source: Politryk.ru, January 5, 2020) Russian MFA: We Were Concerned To Learn Of The Death Of Soleimani The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated: “We were concerned to learn of the death of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps Commander Major General Qasem Soleimani in a US military strike on Baghdad airport. This step by Washington is fraught with grave consequences for the regional peace and stability. We firmly believe that such actions do not facilitate efforts to find solutions to the complicated problems that have built up in the Middle East. On the contrary, they lead to a new round of escalating tensions in the region.” (Mid.ru, January 3, 2020) The Russian Foreign Ministry condemned the killing of Soleimani as a "foolhardy move" that would increase tension in the area. It eulogized Soleimani: "Soleimani devotedly served the defense of Iran's national interests." The FM representative expressed condolences to the Iranian people. (Rbc.ru, January 3, 2020) Russian Diplomat Ulyanov: JCPOA Parties Should Exercise Restraint Russia’s Permanent Representative to international organizations in Vienna, Mikhail Ulyanov, said: "The assassination of General Soleimani is fraught with very negative consequences for the situation in the region. I would like this not to affect the JCPOA, which is already not in the best condition. For this, both Iran and the West European participants in the transaction should show reasonable restraint." (Tass.com, January 5, 2020) Russian MFA Spokeswoman Maria Zakrahova: The US Is Interested In Changing The Balance Of Power In The Region Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told the Rossiya 24 TV channel: "It turns out that a missile strike was carried out first, an act that is out of sync with international law was committed. And only then did they [the Americans] requested [the assessment of the events] involving the [US] Embassy. This is probably the height of cynicism, you know.” Zakarova also stated in her Facebook account: "To condemn attacks on their embassies, states go to the UN Security Council submitting draft statements. Washington did not appeal to the Security Council, which means that it is not interested in the world’s response [and that it is] interested in changing the balance of power in the region." (Tass.com, January 3, 2020) Senator Alexei Pushkov: The US Finds Itself Closer To War With Iran Than Any Time In The Last 40 Years Senator Alexei Pushkov tweeted: “Trump announced that by the liquidation of Soleimani, the US attempted not to start but stop war. In fact this is more likely an attempt not to 'lose' Iraq as well following [the loss of] Syria. As a result, the US now finds itself closer to war with Iran than any time in the last 40 years. This is the way they evaluate it in Europe and in the US itself.” (Twitter.com/Alexey_Pushkov, January 4, 2020) Russian Senator Kosachev: Washington Is Underestimating Tehran's Power Senator Konstantin Kosachev, the Chairman of the Federation Council's International Affairs Committee, noted that the killing of General Soleimani is the worst case scenario for the development of events in Iraq. The Americans' actions are very similar to revenge for the attack on the U.S. embassy in Baghdad. Kosachev assessed that the killing of the general will trigger new clashes between the Americans and radical Shi'ites in Iraq. "You won’t be forced to wait for a response … wars are easy to start but very hard to finish." (Vesti.ru, January 3, 2020) The Russian senator charged that the assassination was a politically motivated attempt by Trump to spectacularly begin his election campaign and warned that Washington underestimated Tehran's power. (Vesti.ru, January 4, 2020) The Chairman of the Russian State Duma Foreign Affairs Committee Leonid Slutsky: The Americans Have Crossed The ‘Red Line’ The Chairman of the Russian State Duma Foreign Affairs Committee Leonid Slutsky voiced condemnation of the American action: "The lawless murder of Soleimani is a barbaric provocation by the United States. The Americans have crossed the 'red line', and this time the consequences can be very serious. Iran has vowed to take revenge and to give a "crushing response". But, in my opinion, it’s important for Tehran to avoid further steps that could lead to a sharp deterioration of the situation in the region, and act within legal boundaries. And I would not rule out the need to discuss the whole situation in the UN Security Council." (Kp.ru, January 4, 2020) LDPR Party Leader Zhirinovsky: With The Killing Of Soleimani, The US Wants To Draw Russia Into Confrontation With The Muslim World Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the head of the nationalist LDPR party, believes that by the killing of Soleimani the US wants to draw Russia into confrontation with the Muslim world. Zhirinovsky said: "In this way the US wants to draw Russia into confrontation with the Muslim world in the way it was in 1979 after the introduction of Soviet forces into Afghanistan. (Regnum.ru, January 4, 2020) Chechen Leader Kadirov: The US Actions Are Capable Of Leading To Unforeseen Consequences Chechen leader Ramzan Kadirov: “The US actions are capable of leading to unforeseen consequences in the Middle East. This should leave no one indifferent.” (Ria.ru, January 4, 2020) Russian Political scientist Sergey Filatov: Coffins Will Simply Arrive To America; Iran Will Not Change Its Policy Russian Political scientist Sergey Filatov commented: “The killing of Soleimani will bring about nothing aside from the outbreak of hostilities to the Middle East, nothing aside from the extermination of Americans in this region. Coffins will simply arrive to America; Iran will not change its policy... In the final result, this can lead to a situation where the Americans will be first to leave Iraq under the pressure of Iraq and Iran. After that they may possibly abandon their points in the Middle East." (M24.ru, January 4, 2020) Russian Expert Yuri Rogulev: "Of course this fully destroys all prospects for a nuclear agreement with Iran. The US has abandoned it in any case, undermining its foundations. And of course Iran can now simply announce that it no longer considers itself tied to these agreements and will begin to actively work on creation its nuclear weapons.” (M24.ru, January 4, 2020) Russian Expert Ivankovskaya: Soleimani Was A Loyal Ally Russian expert Olga Ivankovskaya wrote in the Versiya.info site: "Together with the special forces of Russia and Syria, being the loyal ally he was, Soleimani and his fighters engaged in the war with international terrorism in Syria. Under his leadership, the special forces were able to recapture oil rigs that returned to the control of the Syrian Arab Republic.” (Versiya.info, January 3, 2020) Chief Deputy Editor Of The Realist Information Agency Kiril Dzhablach: A Rebalancing Of The Elite May Lead To Unforeseen Consequences For The Islamic Regime Kiril Dzhablach, the chief deputy editor of the Realist information agency, commented: "It is necessary to remember that for the Iranians, Soleimani was a unifying figure as opposed to many politicians and clerics. The general's death destroys the balance of forces within the Iranian elite. Given the background of discontent in the country, a rebalancing of the elite may lead to unforeseen consequences for the Islamic regime." (Realtribune.ru, January 3, 2020)

Iraqi Shiite Milita Leader Qais Khazali: American Forces Must Leave Iraq Now or Face Dire Consequences; We will Erase Israeli Entity from Existence

#7699 | 03:02
Source: Al-Ahd TV (Iraq)

In a statement aired on Al-Ahd TV (Iraq), on January 5, 2020, Qais Khazali Secretary-General of Iraqi Shi'ite Militia Asai'b Ahl Al-Haq said: "We will not expect less than the expulsion of all the forces of U.S. aggression from Iraq." He added his militia will fulfill the "hopes and wishes," to which Qods Force commander, killed by the U.S., Qasem Soleimani dedicated his life by continuing to confront the plundering Israeli entity and the "cleansing of the land of Palestine in its entirety" and erasing the Israeli entity from existence. Khazali turned to the people and Congress of the U.S., saying that the decision of "Trump the idiot" will cause more deaths and injuries to American soldiers. He said that the Iraqi parliament decided to expel the U.S. forces, and if they do not leave immediately, their forces will be considered occupation forces and treated accordingly. Speaking to the U.S. Congress, Khazali said that if they remain silent and allow that idiot (President Trump) to make his own decisions, they will bear the consequences of this. He continued to say that U.S. President Trump is an "idiot" and that this was the most stupid thing of all that he has done. He will ultimately bring upon the end of the U.S. role as a superpower in the world.

Qais Khazali: "We will not accept less than the expulsion of all the forces of U.S. aggression from the pure land of Iraq. This is our pledge to Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis and his fellow PMU martyrs. As for Hajj Qasem Soleimani, we promise you that we will continue to confront the plundering Israeli entity, and we will fulfill the hopes and wishes, to which you dedicated your life: the cleansing of the land of Palestine in its entirety and erasing the plundering Israeli entity from existence.

[...]

"I have a message to the American people and Congress: Your president, Trump the idiot, with his stupid decisions, will only bring your interests under more threats, and he will only cause more deaths and injuries among your soldiers, who he promised to bring back safely to their country.

[...]

"Today, the Iraqi parliament has spoken. Now, your forces must now leave immediately. If your forces do not leave, or even if you procrastinate, your forces will be considered occupation forces, and they will be treated accordingly.

[...]

"If you [in Congress] remain silent and allow this idiot to make whatever decision he likes, it will mean that you all will bear the consequences of those decisions. If you do not leave, or if you drag your feet, you shall face a powerful Iraqi response that will rock the earth under your feet and will turn the skies over your heads into hell. The decision is up to you. As for your president, Trump the idiot, he is an idiot indeed, and has won this title deservedly. But of all the many stupid actions he has done, his recent crime is the most stupid of all. It will completely end his political future, if it does not cause the end of the U.S. role as a superpower in this world."
