"The Generals Of The Enemies Today Acknowledge That Yemen Has Become The Lord Of The Red Sea And Lord Of The Arab Region"

On January 31, 2025, the official website of the Ansar Allah Houthi Movement published a 23-page report detailing military operations conducted by the Houthis against Israel, the U.S., and the U.K., since October 2023.[1] The attacks, the report said, came as part of Houthi "support for Palestine," and resulted in "the generals of the enemies acknowledging that today Yemen has become the lord of the Red Sea and lord of the Arab region."

An infographic featured in the report recorded 309 total Houthi operations, including 217 "naval operations" and 92 "operations in the depth of the Israeli enemy" – including targets in various parts of Israel. Of its 217 naval operations, the Houthis claimed to have targeted 24 Israeli ships, 72 ships "linked to the Israeli enemy," 13 British ships, 30 American commercial ships. They also claimed to have engaged in 78 "clashes" with the U.S. military.

Houthi Attacks On Israel

The report noted that attacks against Israel were conducted under two considerations. The first was to target Israeli ships in the Red Sea, as well as all ships – regardless of nationality – which were headed toward the Israeli Port of Eilat. Secondly, the Houthis employed "various missiles and drones" to strike the "military, sensitive, and critical targets of the enemy."

The report featured a five-part infographic recording detailed information about all the 92 claimed Houthi attacks against Israel. The infographic listed the date of attack, a description of it, the targeted location in Israel, and the weapons which were used in the attack.

Other infographics featured in the report provided detailed information on specific attack trends against Israel. For example, one infographic recorded every claimed attack on Tel Aviv; another listed information about operations against 24 Israeli ships, including the date of attack, the name of the targeted ship, its location, and the weapons which were used in the attack.

In another two-part infographic, the report listed details about 78 Houthi "engagements" with U.S. aircraft carriers in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.
