On May 10, 2021, Fatimyoon Electronic Team, a Telegram channel affiliated with Iran-backed militias in Iraq, shared what it described as an "exclusive" video highlighting preparations by Hamas's military wing, Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades, for attacks on Israeli targets.[1]

The video comes after the May 10, 2021 rocket attack in Jerusalem for which Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades claimed responsibility. The group said in a statement that the strike was a counterattack for the escalating Israeli "aggression" on Palestinians in eastern Jerusalem.[2]

Titled "Al-Quds Called Us, We Answered The Call," the 35-second video shows a group of Izz Al-Din Al-Qassam Brigades fighters preparing rocket launchers ahead of an attack.

The final clip showed a threatening message in Arabic and Hebrew: "If you increase your attacks, we shall increase ours doubly."
