In a Pashtu-language video, Islamic State Khurasan Province (ISKP) argues that the Taliban rulers of Afghanistan are violating shari'a in various spheres of life and governance, and says, in a response to a Taliban article, that "We do not want to give up on Jerusalem as a policy of non-interference in others' affairs, nor do we want to welcome the invaders of Islamic lands."
The Pashtu-language video is titled "We Want The Destruction Of The America's Contractor Militia In Afghanistan!" ISKP-linked outlet Al-Hadid Media released the 13:36-minute video, which argues that the Taliban regime is not an Islamic system and says that the Islamic State (ISIS) wants to eliminate it.
According to the video, the Taliban rulers have not implemented the rules of Islam, and, rather than waging jihad against Russia, China, America, and other unbeliever countries, the Taliban is friendly with them, and thus the Taliban government cannot be considered Islamic.
While much of the video features clips of Taliban leaders' meetings with foreign leaders, it also features clips of attacks executed by ISKP fighters in Afghanistan, Russia, and other parts of the world.
The video features Arabic-language poetry and Taliban statements justifying good relations with other countries. A Pashtu-speaking narrator says the Taliban are collaborating with the unbelievers against Muslims and have allowed polytheistic practices, such as Shi'ite Islam or Sufism, and do not practice monotheism.
A short clip in the video shows the Taliban publicly blackening the faces or cutting the hair of criminals, including thieves, indicating that these are not shari'a punishments in any way. These clips are juxtaposed with clips of punishments carried out by ISIS, including amputations, beheadings, and floggings, with the narrator emphasizing that these are sharia-compliant punishments.

The video references to the Taliban-run Al-Mirsaad website, stating that it is an address created by the Taliban and funded with dollars from American nightclubs. A response to an Al-Mirsaad article, titled "What does ISIS want in Afghanistan?" reads: "We want a complete Islamic system throughout the world, including Afghanistan. We want to uproot Shia, Sufi, and other polytheistic groups in Afghanistan and spread the pure belief of monotheism in their place. We want to eliminate the Taliban militias, the security guards of the unbelievers of the whole world, and their friends, in Afghanistan. We want to implement Islamic punishments according to shari'a law, which the Taliban have suspended. We want to burn the intelligence nests going by the name of embassies of all the unbelievers of the world, including China, Russia, America, and other unbelievers, in Afghanistan and kill their diplomats. We do not welcome the murderers and honor-robbers [i.e., Chinese officials] of Uyghur Muslims in Afghanistan, but rather slaughter them and bathe them in their blood.
The video was shared on Telegram.
"We want to end the collection of illegal taxes in Afghanistan and abolish the usurious banking system. We do not want to accept the international non-Islamic principles in Afghanistan, but to trample these principles. We want to eliminate the idea of nationalism and destroy borders in Afghanistan, and instead spread the idea of Islamic unity and brotherhood. We do not want to give up on Jerusalem as a policy of non-interference in others' affairs, nor do we want to welcome the invaders of Islamic lands, but we want to eliminate this idea and its followers from Afghanistan. We want to overthrow the so-called Islamic regime in Afghanistan that was designed in the U.S.'s largest military base in Qatar and is financed by U.S. dollars. We do not want to maintain the security of the entire unbeliever world from Afghanistan, but rather to disrupt its security, destroy their cities, enslave the women of these unbelievers, and enslave their children. We want an end to the anti-Islamic activities of the polytheistic Taliban in Afghanistan. So, we say to the Taliban militias, do not try to introduce yourselves as Muslims and this contractual system as an Islamic system with empty slogans, it is not Islamic."
The video concludes by threatening the Taliban, saying that the Islamic State will never allow a non-Islamic system to continue in Afghanistan.
