A lead article in the latest issue of the "Voice of Khurasan," an English-language monthly magazine published by Al-Azaim Media Foundation, a media outlet linked to the Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP), which defines itself as a supporting entity for the Islamic State (ISIS), cites the arguments of early Islamic jurists and cases from early Islamic history in explanation of the intensity of its attacks on Rawafidh (rejectionist, a pejorative term for Shi'ite). It also warns of more jihadi attacks in Iran.
The article, mentioned on the magazine's table of contents as "Honorable Muslim Brothers!" is titled "Why Do The Mujahideen Of The Islamic State Make Rawafidh The Target Of Their Operations And Turn Their Cities Into Cemetries." It accuses Shi'ites of shirk (""idolatry"), deems them unbelievers, and says that Allah ordered believers to fight unbelievers. Allah says, it cites Quran 9:123: "Oh believers! Fight the unbelievers around you and let them find firmness in you. And know that Allah is with those mindful of him."
"Many people will look at the friendship of the Taliban apostates with the Rawafidh polytheists and notice their protection and care for each other, and they will look at the feelings and propaganda of the Taliban polytheists about them, and they will be impressed. The Rawafidh look like Muslims. Their homes and places where shirk [idolatry] ceremonies are held look like mosques. People who do not see the distinction are ignorant of Islam or think like the Taliban because of national interests and other considerations," it says.
The article, citing scholarly works, lays out six charges against Shi'ites: "They believe that the Quran is a flawed book"; "Their books are full of insults to the Messenger of Allah [Muhammad]"; "They attribute kufr [unbelief] to the Companions, and insult them, slander them, and curse them"; "They attribute adultery to Ayesha [the wife of Muhammad], and this has become their habit"; "There is a network of shirk. Along with the shirk [of not calling Allah for help, but] calling 'Ya Ali Madad (O Ali! Help me),' they spend their days and nights worshiping graves and sheikhs, and other forms of shirk and kufr [unbelief]"; "They make the blood of the believers of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jamaat [Sunni Muslims] halal [permissible]."
The article cites narrations from early Islamic history to say how Shi'ites justify the killings of Sunni Muslims who are seen as "hostile to Ali," who is the first imam of the Shi'ites. It quotes radical Islamic jurist Sheikh al-Islam ibn Taymiyyah as saying: "Whoever curses the Companions or one of them or joins with his curse, or claims that Ali is worthy of worship (a god) or a prophet or that Jibrail was mistaken, then there is no doubt in his kufr [unbelief]. Nay, there is no doubt in the kufr of he who stops (hesitates) in takfir [the practice of declaring a particular Muslim to be an unbeliever] of him." It also quotes several Islamic jurists such as Imam Al-Tahawi, Imam ibn Hazm, and Imam Abu Zur'ah as saying that Rawafidh (Shi'ites) are heretics and unbelievers, not Muslims.
The article appears in Issue 38 of the magazine, which is dated Safar 1446, in the Hijri calendar, which corresponds with the lunar month beginning, the Islamic month beginning August 5, 2024. The issue was released online as a PDF.
Following are excerpts from the article:
"There Was Another Betrayal Against The Grandson Of The Prophet – Hussain Bin Ali. By Sending A Letter, They Invited Him To Kufa And Prepared The Ground For His Martyrdom; Even Many Thinkers And Scholars Of Rawafidh Such As Ali Shariati And Murtaza Mutahari, And Even The Books Of The Later Scholars Of This Sect, Openly Admit That Hussain Was Martyred By Shi'ites"
"O Muslim brothers, these are the beliefs, actions, and thoughts of the Rawafidh, and these are the fatwas against blasphemy of the jurists of the Muslim Ummah and the Imams of Islam against them. Now, if a person is not prejudiced, ignorant, or group-oriented, and holds a lot of pride in his heart for Allah, the Messenger of Allah, the Companions, and the mother Aisha, then he should make his own decision.
"Is there any need for love, sympathy, alliances, and condolences for the nationalist Taliban, if the mujahideen of the Islamic Caliphate hate, detest, and kill them like they did in Kerman and Shah Cheragh in Iran, and Iraq and Afghanistan? Is it necessary to give them gifts or to send them istishhadiyyin [martyrdom-seeking bombers] like Omar Muwahid and Saifullah Mujahid!? To turn their cities and roads into cemeteries?
"O majority of men of Iran! O apostate Taliban of Afghanistan! By Allah, you can hang the mujahideen of the Islamic State, but you cannot change their motivation and will in prison! Your cruelty and horrors will stoke even more fires of revenge in your house, Allah willing. This is just a sample of the polytheistic beliefs of the Rawafidh, as their other actions, movements, betrayals, and misdeeds are too many to list. The treachery of this apostate and disgraced nation, which is infamous for its Rawafidh, is not hidden from any Muslim whose eyes and heart have been enlightened by the light of guidance and the knowledge of the holy religion of Islam.
"The martyrdom of [Islam's third Islamic caliph] Uthman and a group of his companions, may Allah be pleased with them, the killing of the pilgrims of the House of Allah and stealing the Black Stone, the betrayals by Nasir al-Din Tusi and the Rafidhi ibn al-Alaqami, and the death of these two devils in Baghdad, the occupation of Jerusalem, the first Qibla of Muslims, by the hands of the Ismaili rulers, and what has happened in current time in terms of the crimes of the apostate soldiers in Iraq, Iran, Sham, Khurasan, Yemen, and Lebanon – none of these are hidden from any muwahhid [monotheist] Muslim.
"This is just a small portion of the betrayals by the Rawafidh of the Islamic Ummah from the past until now. Perhaps the readers will ask themselves whether there was a group of apostates called Rawafidh during the era of Uthman. The answer to the question is 'yes. The Jew Abdullah bin Saba – may the curse of Allah be upon him – with some tribes of Iraq who falsely claimed to love Aal Bayt [house of Muhammad]. He started cursing the basis and foundation of Islam and started to spread the influence of his satanic thought among some people.
"He surrounded the house of Uthman and martyred him and his honorable wife. This was the first treachery of the Sabaeans, who cast cursed stones on the Companions and Mothers of the Faithful nos. Besides the other betrayals of this nation, there was another betrayal against the grandson of the Prophet – Hussain bin Ali. By sending a letter, they invited him to Kufa and prepared the ground for his martyrdom. Even many thinkers and scholars of Rawafidh such as Ali Shariati and Murtaza Mutahari, and even the books of the later scholars of this sect, openly admit that Hussain was martyred by Shi'ites.
"In this period, the Shi'a emerged as an opposition and political movement against the Khiladh [sic], and until now it had not been perfected to have its religion and jurisprudence. Husayn al-Bahrani, among the scholars of Rawafidh, says in his book al-Mahasan: The wealth, souls, honor, and blood of the Nawasib (Sunnis) are the spoils.
"Sheikh Saduq, among the mujahids of the Rawafidh, quoted from Dawud bin Farqad, on the authority of Abu Abdullah, that he was asked about the killing of the Nawasib (Sunnis), and Abu Abdullah said in his answer: Killing them is lawful, if you can hit his head on the wall, and if you can drown them in water so that the effect of the crime remains hidden. Also, Har Amili, among the scholars of the Safavid era, put this hadith in his book Al-Wasil Al-Shi'a, and al-Jaziri in his book Al-Ghaibah Al-Numa-Niyyah, and considered it permissible to kill Sunnis.
"Not a single day has passed by these impious people that they have not performed taqiyya. Truly they may do taqiyya in front of the Muslim people, and deny the words of their scholars.
The Rawafidh are the people of lies and false piety. They put on a guise of piety and drop it in the state of weakness. And in the absence of the holy shari'a of Allah and the rule of the apostate factions in the region, they prepared the bed for the growth and expansion of Rafidhi thought..."
"O Sunnis Of Iran, Come To Your Senses! It Has Been More Than 540 Years That You Have Been Under The Rule Of The Rawafidh; Is It Not Enough That They Killed So Many Of You And Destroyed Your Mosques?"
"For five centuries, Sunnis have been humiliated and killed in Iran, and they are in very poor conditions and are deprived of their civil rights. Muslims and muwahhid youths who leave this blasphemous Shi'ism are identified, captured, and executed, from the killing of Murtaza Radmehr to Ali Muzaffarian and dozens of other Muslim men and women who left the Shi'a religion, in addition, to discrimination and impoverishment of Sunni areas from Balochistan to the Turkmen desert, from Khurasan to Talish and Kurdistan.
"Centuries passed, and the tawagheet [tyrants] replaced other tawagheet, but the status of the Sunnis did not change. You may compare it with the situation of the shifting of a prison guard or inspector who has been changed and another prison guard or inspector has replaced him. But it is a pity for the followers of those corrupt clerics and groups belonging to the Ahl as-Sunnah who seek honor and dignity from the impure Rawafidh.
"Allah says: 'But all honor and power belong to Allah, His Messenger, and the believers, yet the hypocrites do not know.' And in another verse: 'Whoever seeks honor and power, then let them know that all honor and power belong to Allah.'
"Yes! My muwahhid brothers and sisters, glory be to Allah's Messenger and the believers! Allah is the source of honor; so, earn honor by following the commandments of Allah, not from begging the tawagheet of Tehran and taghut rulers.
"O Sunnis of Iran, come to your senses! It has been more than 540 years that you have been under the rule of the Rawafidh. Is it not enough that they killed so many of you and destroyed your mosques? Is it not enough that courtiers like Abdul Hameed and his assistants took advantage of your simplicity? They have saved countless capitals for themselves, while the nearest hospital is miles away from you, and you do not have clean and healthy water to drink. Is not this humiliation and disgrace enough?
"Is it not enough for you that you lost hundreds of your loved ones and young people in last year's protests, including the attack on Makki Masjid? The Rawafidh opposition laughed at you by mixing together and chanting slogans under the umbrella of sexual freedom. Is it not enough for you that these filthy Rawafidh insult the chastity of your women because of hijab and niqab?"
"If The Taghut [Tyrant, i.e., Iran's Supreme Leader Ali] Khamenei Is Not Overthrown, What Will The Taghut Do With Sunnis? They Will Kill All Of You"; "Allah Almighty Granted A Man From The Lineage Of The Messenger Of Allah Authority On Earth To Revive Religion... And That Man Was None Other Than... Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi"
"If the taghut [tyrant, Iran's Supreme Leader Ali] Khamenei is not overthrown, what will the taghut do with Sunnis? They will kill all of you for the crime of calling for separation, the same as the filthy Rafidhi Khomeini did with the Kurds and Turkmen.
"You will know facts sooner or later about the disagreements between the Rafidhi opposition with the apostate government of the Shi'ite Republic of Iran, and the domestic dispute or the dispute of the Shi'ites with the Shi'ites. On the other hand, the opponents of the Khamenei regime oppose Vilayat-e-Faqih and not the whole of the Shi'ite religion. What does this mean? It means the Shi'ite religion will remain an official religion, and it will remain a part of the people of Iran.

"Precisely during the period of the Pahlavi government [dynasty from 1925 to 1979], this issue caused the Rafidhi authority and Rawafidh to incite the government against the Sunnis very easily. The government does not want to lose its credibility among the majority. In any case, the period of trial and error is over, and now is the time for action. "One is sitting in the seat of power and killing the Sunnis of Iran, Sham [Syria], Iraq, and Yemen with the motive of sectarian prejudice, and the other, an anti-Sunni group, are Khamenei's opponents and are mostly ethnic, and say that the Safavids gave identity to present-day Iran by formalizing Shi'ism and separating this country from the Islamic world, and that Shi'ism is a pretext for seeking religious authority and authenticity and achieving objectives such as restoring the lands of the Shahr region of Iran – (areas that were part of the majestic Sassanid Empire).
"Because of this, Lola came to his senses and informed other Muslim people about the danger and evil of waste. It has been years or better to say centuries since the loss of the shari'a of Allah in the collective life of Muslims, and centuries of humiliation, slavery, and submission. Allah Almighty granted a man from the lineage of the Messenger of Allah authority on earth to revive religion and traditions, and that man was none other than Sheikh Ibrahim bin Awad al-Badri, with the kunya Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
"Allah gave honor and trust to Jalil-ul-Qadr Sheikh, and mujahideen and common Muslims gathered behind him from all over the world. At the same time, the Rafidhi Hashd, Peshmerga and Bashar-al Assad's Nusayri, and also soldiers from Rafidhi Iran, Hizb al-Shaytan, and the Sahwat in Sham, Nigeria, African lands, East Asia, Libya, and Sinai were fighting alongside factions and national parties."
"The U.S. Accused Russia Of Supporting The Islamic State, And Russia Accused The U.S. Of Inventing And Forming The Islamic State, But In Practice, All These Countries And These Factions, Political Parties, And Military Groups, Despite Their Political Differences And Conflicting Interests, Are All United Against The Islamic State"
"If we look into the matter, then all of the Islamic State has been recognized by Allah, and this in itself indicates the truthfulness of the method of this believing community. By studying the lives of the Companions and referring to the noble verses of the Holy Quran, we understand that trials and tests are a part of the believers' lives. And Allah always tests the believers.
"Allah says: 'If you have suffered injuries at [the Battle of] Uhud, they suffered similarly at [the Battle of] Badr. We alternate these days of victory and defeat among people so that Allah may reveal the true believers, choose martyrs from among you – and Allah does not like the wrongdoers – and distinguish the true believers and destroy the kuffar' – (Sura Al-Imran: 140).
"But in response to those sick-hearted hypocrites who say to the supporters of the Islamic State, may Allah bless them, that the Islamic State no longer has dominion and control over the city, village, and region in Sham and Iraq, and so-and-so emir, commander or Khalifah is martyred, we will say that the land on which the shari'a of Allah almighty rules for one day is better than a thousand days under the command of the taghut and popular rule based on the laws of kufr.
"The government of the Islamic State became a standard for distinguishing between truth and falsehood. The Sahawat of Sham and the Gulf Sarwari and Madkhali Mashaikhs considered the Islamic State a slave of Rafidhi Iran and Nusyari Bashar al-Assad. The United States accused Russia of supporting the Islamic State, and Russia accused the United States of inventing and forming the Islamic State, but in practice, all these countries and these factions, political parties, and military groups, despite their political differences and conflicting interests, are all united against the Islamic State.
"They started an all-out war against the Islamic State in various political, cultural, economic, and security fields. But with the retreat of the Islamic State, a conflict of interests between the disbeliever appeared. Russia and America are now fighting each other in Ukraine. The Ikhwani Hamas and Rafidhi Hizb al-Shaytan, the former in a direct fight and the latter in an indirect fight, on behalf of Rafidhi Iran, are involved in the war with the imaginary Jewish state."
"O Sunnis Of Iran, With All The Details That Have Been Mentioned, We Must Say That You Have No Other Helper Than Allah Almighty, And After That The Mujahideen Of The Islamic State, May Allah Bless Them And Grant Them Peace"
"The internal differences between the Shi'ite groups and parties in Iraq, regarding the future unknown politics in this country and other cases, all these developments revolve around the point that all these kuffar stand against the Islamic State. Despite their political differences and conflicting interests, they are still united against the Khilafah [caliphate], and this is a testimony to the truth of this manhaj [methodology].
"But about the martyrdom of our Khulafah [caliphs] and mujahideen, including their sons, we say that the martyrdom of the Khalifah [caliph] and mujahideen is not only a challenge but a sign of their firm and strong faith and belief in the laws of Islam. Allah says: 'Among the believers are men who have proven true to what they pledged to Allah. Some of them have fulfilled their pledge with their lives, others are waiting for their turn. They have never changed their commitment in the least' – (Surah Al-Ahzab, 23). The martyrdom of the Khulafah [caliphs] and mujahideen is nothing but honor, glory, and dignity for them and the Islamic State.
"Meanwhile, the commanders of the Taliban in Khurasan [Afghanistan] and [Abu Mohammad] Joulani in Idlib [Syria] are under the surveillance of American drones and planes, but they continue their daily affairs without fear. Here you have to ask yourself, what is the difference between them and the Islamic State? The Islamic State did not hesitate to strengthen the shari'a of Allah, to fight against the kuffar, and to save the Muslims from the oppression of the tribes.
"It does not recognize the false borders imposed by Sykes-Picot's, which have divided the Muslim Ummah for a century, and has not deviated from its principles. On the other hand, Joulani in Idlib and the Taliban in Khurasan, like a chameleon (sun worshiper), took a different color every day and changed their false doctrine from one to another, and thus they traveled the destinations of kufr and apostasy, that the West considers acceptable.
"O Sunnis of Iran, with all the details that have been mentioned, we must say that you have no other helper than Allah almighty, and after that the mujahideen of the Islamic State, may Allah bless them and grant them peace. During the construction of Taghuti Majlis in September 2022, the attacks on Ahvaz military maneuvers (2018) and the shirk temple of Shah Cheragh (2023) proved that they were not carried out by the commanders and soldiers of Iranian revolutionaries, but by the mujahideen of the Islamic State..."

"It may be said that the support of the Islamic State and its entry will be used as an excuse for the massacre of Sunnis in Iran. It has been almost 540 years that you have been prisoners of and disgraced by the Rawafidh in the land called Iran, which was once conquered and made a part of our glorious history by the Companions of the Prophet.
"Where was the Islamic State in decades past? Did the Islamic State exist when the taghut Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and the Rafidhi Musa Sadr sent weapons to Lebanon and armed the Lebanese Christian and Rafidhi militias and gave them military training? Was there an Islamic State when the Pahlavi Zabli brought impure and apostate yahud rabbis to Baluchistan and the Turkmen desert, and killed thousands of Baloch and Turkmen Sunnis?

"Do not deceive yourself, you will pay the price in both cases, with or without the Islamic State existing. Even without the Islamic State, they bomb the areas of the Sunnis. However, with jihad, we can take revenge and hit them, and plan istisshadi and inghimasi operations in the cities of the Rawafidh, such as Sheikh al-Zarqawi's did in the past time against the filthy Rawafidh of Iraq.
"In return for every drop of blood shed from the Sunni people, the mujahideen of the Islamic State have sent several Rawafidh to hell. And if there is no Islamic State, you will also pay recompense, and the humiliation, calamity, contempt, and humiliation of these unclean concubines will be left as an inheritance to your sons and grandsons. Gradually, by impoverishing your regions, and by depriving you of your rights and silencing you with the help of some treacherous officials and political experts, they will cut off your heads.
"Some people will say that at one point in time, the majority of Baluchistan and Kurdistan were Sunni, but today there is nothing left of them and their population has decreased and they have been replaced by Rawafidh. In the end, we address the supporters of the Islamic State in Iran. Allah almighty called us to embark on jihad, not to secure victory as some see it, as martyrdom is also a victory and happiness. Do not listen to sick old people, scumbags, and deviants who tell you what they have learned from their demons to make you despair.
"At the beginning of 2019, only the border village of al-Baghouz remained under the control of the Islamic State, which did not have an area of more than 3 square kilometers, and it was bombarded day and night by American warplanes and surrounded by PKK militants. However, this was the seed of hope for re-establishment. At this time, the mujahideen from Burkina Faso, Mali, Mozambique, Congo, and Niger pledged allegiance to the Islamic State and soon after they were able to dominate a vast region of Africa. Truly, only the defeatists and ignorant see the Khilafah as having ended with al-Baghouz.
"Likewise, only the foolish see the Khilafah ending with the martyrdom of its Khalifah [caliph]. We know our Khulafah [caliphs] by their words and actions, not by frequent interviews with various reporters in front of cameras, such as the apostate Joulani in Idlib and the apostate Taliban leaders in Khurasan. The Khalifah of the Islamic State Sheikh Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi was known as the engineer of the attack on prisons."
"The Day Will Not Be Far When The Water Of Jihad Will Reach Iran. We Killed Your Dogs In Iraq, Sham, Yemen, And Khurasan, And The Same Fate Awaits You In Shiraz, Isfahan, And Ahvaz"
"In January 2022, 12 mujahideen of the Islamic State attacked Ghuwayran prison in al-Hasaka city and freed hundreds of prisoners. At the same time that the supporters of the Islamic State confirmed the validity of their operation. After the martyrdom of Sheikh Abu Ibrahim Al-Hashimi, and just a few days after the martyrdom of Sheikh Abul-Hasan Al-Hashimi at the hands of the apostates of the Free Syrian Army, in Jasim town of Daraa city, a blessed brigade of the mujahideen of the Islamic State planned the operation on the Shah Cheragh Shrine.
"Also, by the order of the new Khalifah of the Islamic State, the ghazis planted so many bombs in the streets of Kerman that the world was again afraid of it, and another strong slap was given to the face of Rafidhi Khamenei.
"O supporters of the truth! O muwahhideen [monotheists]! Be patient and steadfast and do not neglect anything in support of the mujahideen. We will never forget to send our message to the impure people: your history is full of treachery and disgrace, and your crimes and atrocities are enormous throughout history.
"The day will not be far when the water of jihad will reach Iran. We killed your dogs in Iraq, Sham, Yemen, and Khurasan, and the same fate awaits you in Shiraz, Isfahan, and Ahvaz. The day we meet you, there will be nothing in front of our eyes except the pictures of the Iraqi and Syrian children and women who were martyred by your hand. We will not forget all the insults you hurled at our mother Ayesha Siddiqa and her companions, and we will use them to incite the Muslims against you. Soon, you will witness the glorious days of Iraq brought to you buy Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.
"O impure Rawafidh, the attacks and operations by the mujahideen in Iran are not finished, but to the contrary! They will be the beginning of searching for important targets! Major operations with many casualties are awaiting you! In revenge for the blood of the Muslims that we have shed, you have planted hatred, malice, and revenge in the hearts of the mujahideen. Do
