In a recent video, the Afghan Taliban government's Interior Ministry, which is headed by Sirajuddin Haqqani, released a video promoting martyrdom. The video was prepared by the General Command of Police Special Units (GCPSU), a police department within the Taliban government's Interior Ministry, and posted on its official YouTube channel.

Interior Minister Haqqani, who is on the FBI's Most Wanted list, is the chief of the Haqqani Network, a terrorist unit within the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA, i.e., the Afghan Taliban) that has been known for terror attacks on the U.S. Embassy in Kabul and other NATO targets in Afghanistan in recent decades.

The video is narrated and a jihadi song titled "These white-faced fidayeen [martyrdom-seekers], the flowers of Jannat-ul-Firdaus [the highest-level of Paradise]" plays in the background.

Following is a transcript of the video's narration:

"In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. On the Path of Martyrdom. Are you ready for your duty? Yes. Move.

"We are those sacrificing youth who have stepped on the glorious path of martyrdom. We have held our precious lives in our hands and brought them to the market of Jannat [paradise] for trade with Allah's will. We have chosen this path consciously and from the bottom of our hearts, because we know that at the end of this path is a meeting with Allah Almighty and travelling in the gardens of Paradise... the path that we long for from Allah to give us life in it a thousand times [so we can] sacrifice it back to him each time.

"Martyrdom, in our taste, is sweeter to us than all the worldly material tastes; martyrdom is better for us than a peaceful life at home and spending sweet moments with wife and children. We are the sacrificing youth who see freedom and justice in the shadow of shining swords; and we have come in the path of Allah to free the servants of Allah from the slavery of the rebellious oppressors of the time and to enter them in the worship of Allah under the shadow of Islam.

"Martyrdom is the path of honor, independence, and freedom. This is the path to protect the honor and dignity of the Muslims. We are like the fearless hawks of the heights of freedom and independence, who do not rest except under the shadow of shari'a. Our fierce and sharp eye targets the enemies of Islam and the country everywhere; we attack them like a storm, and mix their soil and blood together in a very short time.
