This is the fourth and last part of a study which focuses on violent extremist groups and movements in France, setting out their ideologies, and describing their activism. Groups driven by religion – for example Islamists, jihadis, and other fundamentalists – are not included in this report. This parts includes chapters 6-7-8, which consider some more specific trends of extremist groups in France: the anti-capitalist sentiment, animal rights extremist activism, and the Yellow Vests movement.
