Elon Musk faced severe backlash online following his arguments in favor of employer-sponsored immigration to the United States. Following Musk's initial social media posts on the issue, neo-Nazis and white supremacists online targeted Musk, viewing him as the face of support for immigration. Extremist individuals accused him of being a race traitor, of catering to Jewish or Zionist interests, of facilitating the demographic replacement of white people in the United States, and of betraying white interests. Numerous individuals threatened Musk and other employers online for sponsoring or supporting immigrants.
Neo-Nazis and white supremacists online criticized and even threatened Musk. One man in particular referenced the recent assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, writing: "You think you have a lot of power, but three engraved bullets have more. Your time is coming." Neo-Nazis and white supremacists from countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and Canada weighed in on the discussion, with many targeting Musk, President-elect Donald Trump, and specific companies because they hire foreign workers.
The following report will provide an overview of neo-Nazis and white supremacists' reactions to employer-sponsored immigration discourse.

Criticism Of Musk Following Support Of Legal Migration
Neo-Nazis and white supremacists from countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland, and Canada attacked Musk online for his comments in support of employer-sponsored immigration to the U.S.
Violent Comments And Threats
A neo-Nazi Telegram channel predicted that Musk's comments will lead to his assassination, writing on December 26: "It's only a matter of time until someone engraves Musk's name on a bullet."
A different neo-Nazi Telegram channel wrote a more explicit prediction, describing the "three engraved bullets" facing the "South African race traitor" Musk: "This South African White race traitor Elon Musk comes to my homeland, uses its opportunities to make billions grifting, and then he talks about 'going to war' over his right to bring in more cheap immigrant labor to boost his profit margins while destroying my fucking homeland. Elon, you think you have a lot of power, but three engraved bullets have more. Your time is coming."
The channel also shared a meme of Nintendo's Luigi, a cartoon video game character, shooting Elon Musk in the head. The character Luigi has been used in memes referencing the suspect in the assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, Luigi Mangione. The channel also references the three bullets with the words, "Delay, deny, depose" in his post.
On Telegram, a neo-Nazi posted a photo of Luigi Mangione, the suspect in the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, and wrote: "America is going to be getting a lot more Luigi Mangiones. Every H1B is publicly documented with company name and address."
