Background

This Mexican fascist revolutionary organization founded in 2021 seeks to "liberate [its] people and pursue [their] own destiny as a nation beyond materialism" and has a presence across the Western Hemisphere, including the United States, Canada, Nicaragua, and throughout Mexico. The group states it is "in search for the realization of the historical evolution of the unification of the Great Ibero-American Homeland." In addition to its presence throughout the Americas, it seeks out and maintains relationships with other international fascist and neo-Nazi organizations in Europe and Latin America.

The organization describes its ideology as a form of "Revolutionary Nationalism" which is "neither left nor right" but a "third position … that seeks to link social welfare with a deep sense of national identity. Additionally, it states that it "categorically rejects" the partisan electoral system and "despise[s] the institutional regime that has governed [Mexico] since 1917." In practice, their ideology is comprised of multiple other facets. It is explicitly anti-government, anti-communist, anti-capitalist, anti-democratic, antisemitic, anti-globalist, anti-usury, and anti-American, while it embraces environmentalism, nationalism, and fascism. In a pamphlet explaining their ideology and goals, it cites historical fascists Jean Thiriart, Francois Duprat, and Manuel de la Isla Paulin, among others, as inspirations, and quotes Italian fascist dictator Benito Mussolini: "We are not the embalmers of the past; we know we are the precursors of the future."

The organization's real-world activities include creating brochures and magazines, distributing propaganda, hiking, and attending the annual "Jornadas de Formacion y Militancia" (Days of Training and Military) Conference in Madrid, as well as community service activities such as holding blood drives, distributing food and medicine to the elderly, and working at animal shelters. These activities are exploited as a means of increasing visibility and garnering support.

The group is active on X (formerly Twitter), where it has 847 followers, and on Telegram, where its channel has 569 subscribers. Its X account and Telegram channel were created in 2023.

The group uses its social media accounts to promote its ideology, off-line activities, relationships with other fascist organizations, and to recruit new members.

Social Media Posts Showcase The Group's Ideology

In a May 11, 2023, post on its Telegram channel, the organization posted a transcript and link to an interview between its National Secretary and a neo-Nazi political party in Germany. In the interview the group's National Secretary described the organization as a "national revolutionary group" that is "against globalization and capitalism" and "wants to liberate our people and pursue our own destiny as a nation beyond simple materialism, to give our people a real meaning in life, a purpose with passion." The National Secretary went on to add that the pursues its goals and policies "outside the current democratic political system," which the group sees as corrupt and a failure to the nation.

Using this same Telegram channel, the group also posted an introductory pamphlet containing its ideology and goals on November 22, 2023. In this text, it frames itself as a "Third Position" organization; the "Third Position" is a set of neo-fascist political ideologies claiming it represents a third option other than capitalism or communism. In the group's application of "The Third Position," it states it is "strictly extra-parliamentary," condemns Mexico's "electoral party system," and "despises the institutional regime that has governed the country since 1917."

The pamphlet also states that the group aims to achieve its goals "first in our nation [Mexico] and later in the Great Ibero-American homeland."

In an X post from January 5, 2024, highlighting its ideology and the importance of its militants having a strong understanding of their political ideology, the group posted a picture of two written texts. One was titled "Vanguardia Nacional-Revolucionaria" and said "For an Anti-capitalist, Nationalist, Populist Revolution." The other was the political writings of Ramiro Ledesma Ramos, a Spanish fascist from the 1930s and one of the founders of a Spanish fascist group. The post's caption reads: "One of the objectives of our movement is the political and ideological training of all of our militants. Only with good foundations can we face the enemy. We want strong and well trained militants, capable of articulating our ideas debating with … those who think differently and convince our people that change is possible. Books are not exclusively for 'intellectuals', lose your fear of them … "
