At the call of an Italian fascist movement, a rally was organized on January 7, 2025, to commemorate the 1978 killings of three far-right teenage activists—Franco, Francesco and Stefano. Two were shot dead by suspected far-left militants in Rome, while the third was killed by police. The killings have become known as the "Acca Larentia massacre." Every year, Italian fascist movements rally on January 7 and hold a commemorative ceremony. This year, a number of fascist and neo-Nazi groups from outside Italy also joined the rally, along the Acca Larentia road and in front of the former headquarters of the Italian Social Movement where the killings occurred.
