On May 8, 2023, a Telegram channel associated with an Iran-backed Iraqi militia posted a video from an outlet run by Yemen's Ansar Allah movement (Houthis), showing what was described as footage of a military exercise. The video showed armed drone strikes, tanks firing live ammunition, and the movement of ground troops.
