U.S. Department Of Justice Seizes 13 Web Domains Affiliated With Lebanese Hizbullah

May 15, 2023

On May 11, 2023, the U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) announced the seizure of 13 web domains used by Lebanese Hizbullah (LH).

According to the DoJ press release, the 13 domains – listed in the graphic below – were utilized by LH Specially Designated Global Terrorists (SDGT) – including Ali Damush, Ibrahim Al-Amin Al-Sayyid, and Naim Qasim – as well as Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) such as Al-Manar TV, the Islamic Charitable Emdad Committee (otherwise known as the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee, or IKRC), and the Martyrs Foundation in Lebanon.

Seven of the 13 domains were affiliated with Al-Manar TV, a satellite television station "owned or controlled by the Iran-funded Hizbullah terrorist network," which was designated in 2006 for being "the media arm of the Hizbullah terrorist network and for facilitating Hizbullah's activities."

As of this writing, the 13 domains remain under seizure; viewing the domains redirects internet users to a DoJ notice announcing the seizure.
