Twitter Suspends Kavkaz Center's Account

On February 22, 2014, the social networking website Twitter suspended the account of the Kavkaz Center (@Kavkazcenter), a website linked to Chechen jihadi elements and the Caucuses Emirate, for violations of its terms of service. In response, Kavkaz Center issued a communiqué accusing "the KGB" of pressuring Twitter into suspending their account, due to their reporting of the events in Kiev, Ukraine.
