Twitter Account Of Turkish PM's Top Advisor Hacked

The Turkish daily Hurriyetdailynews.com reported on March 11, 2014 that the Twitter account of Mustafa Varank, top advisor to Turkish Prime Minister ErdoÄŸan, had been hacked.

The hackers posted messages in solidarity with the protests for the memory of Berkin Elvan, a 15-year-old who died March 11 after being in a coma for 269 days following his injury during the Gezi protests in Istanbul.

Protests were staged across Turkey following Elvan's death.
