On Telegram, Iraqi Hacking Group Claims To Have Breached U.S. Airbase Security Cameras And Phones, Posts Photos Allegedly Taken Inside The Base

On January 17, 2021, a hacking group associated with Iran-backed militias in Iraq reported on its Telegram channel that it has breached the cellphones of "the mercenaries of the American occupation" in a military base near Baghdad, as well as the security camera in a conference room inside the base. The channel posted photos allegedly taken during a meeting of U.S. forces in the base, as well as of military vehicles at the base.
