Swedish Radio Station Hacked, Plays Nasheed Urging Listeners To Join ISIS

On November 10, 2017, Thehill.com reported that a Swedish radio station had been hacked Friday morning and that the hackers had played a song, or nasheed, in English titled "For the Sake of Allah" urging listeners to join the Islamic State (ISIS). The broadcast occurred in Malmo.

The 24Malmo news site reported Friday that the song had played for about 30 minutes both on its FM frequency and on its Internet-based station. The song, which was three minutes long, was played on a continuous loop about 10 times.
