On December 28, 2021, the Telegram channel of a Shi'ite media organization dedicated to "educating the masses about Islam" published a graphic featuring a quote attributed to Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, described as the "leader of the Muslim ummah," reading: "On one hand, the arena of media and culture – can be and indeed is – a great university. And on the other hand, it is a battle between good and evil, truth and falsehood." The graphic depicted a tank against a backdrop with the logos of many social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Foursquare, and others. In addition, the graphic included a link to the outlet's website, and to its accounts across several platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Telegram.
