On July 10, 2017, Iran's Arabic-language Al-Alam news network reported that Saudi hackers had breached the channel's official Twitter account. The network claimed that the hack was "a hasty reaction" to its coverage of the liberation of the Iraqi city of Mosul from ISIS.
