On January 2, 2017, a pro-Syrian rebel Telegram channel promoted a new fundraising campaign on social media to raise funds for the families of fighters. Interested individuals can donate via WhatsApp and by private message on Telegram. The campaign is also active on Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook.

The announcement for the campaign read: "Your sons at your service is an independent, nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to serve the Muslims in Syria. As the world stood and watched our people be bombed, tortured, raped and displaced, the mujahideen were the only ones who rose up to defend us from a brutal dictator and his savage militias. Our organization is an effort from the people to provide for their heroes, who sacrifice their lives to protect our homes, families, and honor.
