A pro-Islamic State (ISIS) Telegram channel solicited cryptocurrency donations for a charity campaign allegedly aimed at assisting Gazans affected by the Israel-Hamas war.
On September 14, 2024, the Telegram channel solicited donations for a pro-ISIS fundraiser which reportedly distributes money, food, clothing, and other necessities to Gazans. The campaign has been active since October 2023. The Telegram post included photos and videos documenting the campaign's operatives distributing funds. The photos also featured a QR code with an address of a wallet to receive donations in the Tether (USDT) cryptocurrency.
