On February 7, 2017, a post shared by the pro-ISIS Telegram channel "Maseralknanaa" warned that Telegram is a trap created by the West for ISIS supporters. The post also criticized the deterioration of ISIS supporters' overall writing skill and creativity on the platform, and urged them to utilize Telegram as a launching pad to create properly well-written content that should then be disseminated on the real "supporter battlefields" such as Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and Instagram. The post was originally published on the pro-ISIS media group Ashhad Foundation Telegram channel.
