Pro-ISIS Tech Group Warns Against New Messaging App, Claims It Is Produced By 'Intelligence Mercenaries' To Track ISIS Supporters

On April 20, 2021, a pro-Islamic State (ISIS) tech group specializing in disseminating technical and cyber security information to ISIS supporters released a poster in Arabic and English on its website, warning supporters not to use a messaging app available on Google Play. The poster claimed that the app was created by "intelligence mercenaries" and collects and tracks the data of pro-ISIS users.
